Except Wednesday going toe to toe with united away is a strong performance, whereas Spurs trying to keep pace with Ipswich is an embarrassment.
I was told there was some doubt about getting this one in today due to storm Bert... lot's of ice and snow... 1 - 1 at the break though...
Trying to find a stream without subscribing to ifollow ... seems I'm out of luck... $14.00 for one match? $230.00 for the rest of the season? $33.00 for the month... lol ? Maybe I'll buy today's match.
Just off work and checked the results. Two-goal win away ... you'll always take that. From the sound of things, Wednesday heavily bossed the first half, but poor finishing meant they went to halftime only up 1-nil. And in the second half they were, by all accounts, quite poor - or at least significantly worse. The second goal meant fears of yet another dominant first half coming to nothing weren't realized, but you can still sense the frustration from Owls fans, despite being pleased with the result. And by all accounts Hull were horrible. But I didn't have to watch it, so I'm calling it a cracking match.
Jamal Lowe with the winner in the 94th minute! 2-1 to Wednesday after conceding an opener in the first 10 minutes. All the fellas at OO used to whine that they never got anything at Derby, and while I know there have been some draws down there recently, it's the first win there since at least '06 (as I first went in '07) - and probably longer. Still 12th in the table, but level on points with the three teams above them. Good sense says it's premature to start counting how far off the playoff spots, so I'll save you the trouble - it's five.
