I think Wednesday can get promoted but when they do, you know better than to even have expectations. Where else Spurs will tease you all season and then collapse just when need them to stand firm. I know a Spurs fan's life because I support the NY Knicks, NY Jets and NY Mets and NY Rangers and NY Red Bull in American sports. Knicks - 1971 - Basketball Jets - 1965 - American Football Mets - 1986 - Baseball Rangers - 1994 - Ice Hockey Red Bull - Never - MLS I was born in 1978 and moved to NYC in 1985. The despair I can live with, but it's the hope that kills me.
Okay yes the red bull has not been around for over a hundred years but if the MLS had just adopted League table wins instead of the American playoff system then the Red Bull would have three trophies in their history but because of this they have only three supporters Shields which is the best regular season record but it's debatable if it's an actual trophy like winning the Concacaf Champions League are the US version of the FA Cup or MLS Cup.
Being rock bottom of the Championship with hopes of a League One promotion push to look forward to looks like a great place to be right about now.
My tickets for the Naarch match at Hillsborough on 5 November have just been secured. SeannyBoy and I will be sitting on the Kop. My understanding is that Hollie still has her season ticket and goes regularly, so if she's there, I'll be seeing her. I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think I've seen Hollie since '17 (v Barnsley). She may not remember me.
