Beer pairing. Samuel Adams Rebel Grapefruit IPA. Actually pretty good. Decided to take a punt on it yesterday and I enjoyed it. It's time to go away from the dark Porters and Stouts we've been drinking. Our form is better, Spring is near, and we've kind of seen a rebirth. Sticking with semi fruity beers and Belgian White's.
Ah, yes, the Grapefruit IPA. Had the Ballast Point Grapefruit and it was good. Haven't seen Sam Adams yet. I'll put it on my list. A couple that I've had and enjoyed lately: Finback (Queens, NY) Red Shift - "An American Sour brewed with cranberry and yuzu. Yuzu is a Japanese fruit with citrus and pine flavors." Pipeworks (Chicago) Lizard King. Beer Advocate ranks this as a 95, or "World Class" but I wouldn't put it in Heady Topper territory, but it is a very good IPA. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/28178/155168/
I was going to leave work early, head to this nice pub near my office, then eat a nice burger. Then I had a meeting.
Download NBC Sports Live Extra, from there you can set yourself up. It's great for me because despite me working for a cable company, I don't live in an area where I can get my employer's service. Nothing like laying in bed with a tablet watching Prem footie.
We've got a duck, now let's just keep winning. All we're focused on. Winning. Not at all. This beats the days of text PBP (I always did love the Guardian's), dodgy streams, and PPV.
Courtois; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry (c), Azpilicueta; Mikel, Matic; Willian, Fabregas, Oscar; Diego Costa Subs: Begovic, Cahill, Baba Rahman, Loftus-Cheek, Kenedy, Traore, Hazard
Fitness is my only guess. Don't like him on the bench either. Need Oscar and Fab to really shine here.
Disappointing with no Hazard, but really who was Hiddink going to sit? The other 3 have been playing great, but it won't be long before he wins his spot back ahead of Oscar It would be nice to see Fab play better vs an 11 man prem side though
