I'm starting to think that Bunbury and Agudelo might look better at the GC than they do with their clubs. (though they are not doing bad at all for guys in their second season.)
Let me chime in on the belated Bedoya discussion. He usually plays out of the position with the Nats. He is a skilled box to box who plays in the center of the field. We usually have him playing almost as a winger. The reason he keeps getting call ups from Bob is because he has a a decent future.
My final 23 prediction (same as 7 days ago): Howard, Hahnemann, Yelldell Bocanegra, Cherundolo, Onyewu, Goodson, Chandler, Ream, Lichaj Donovan, Dempsey, Jones, Bradley, Edu, Feilhaber, Spector, Kljestan, Bedoya Altidore, Agudelo, Bunbury, Wondolowski If Torres does get picked then I bet Bradley is only taking 3 strikers; because I can't see him not selecting any of the 9 midfielders I have listed.
It would depend on the circumstances. Losing to a good team like Mexico in the Finals is something that I can live with as long as the team was prepared and the game plan was solid. Sometimes players don't execute and that is not the coaches fault. Putting players out there that are not as likely to execute as other available players is the coaches fault though.

But Davies was injured a week ago. We're looking for someone who was injured between the submission of the US roster to CONCACAF (Friday/Saturday?) and today's prospective announcement - likely someone who played over the weekend. Looking at Ives' YA weekend summary, most of the MNT contenders still playing went the full 90 minutes, with Altidore the notable exception (@ 68'). [I see no mention of an injury, but I didn't follow that game.]
