Actually, I'm starting to think we should change it from "Nick sucks" to "Nicks suck," at least when discussing New York-New Jersey-New Brunswick as a team.

Rock! I'm curious to see the lineups, since Bradley played what looked like it could have been an opening day lineup against the U-17 squad, while we've been focusing on trialists.

This is the first game between MLS sides in the preseason, isn't it?

Last I heard, Faria was in Brazil sorting out visa issues.

Ante is still rehabbing his shoulder.

  18. I highly doubt Feruzzi was playing right back. He is pretty much a center attacking mid.

Wonder if Evan schooled Regan on the goal? They had a little bitch slap session in second half stoppage time when the FIRE played the FIRE Reserves two years ago.

Thats one sorryazz buncha 10 midfielders MetroScum put out there today.

ante also had ankle surgery after the shoulder surgery... the suspension will give him more time to heal :)

Will the real Jose Gomez please stand up

actually, it's this Jose Gomez from Liberty University and the Charlotte Eagles:

"2nd Round-2nd Pick (Open Draft) The Eagles chose Forward JOSE GOMEZ from Liberty University. The 5'8", 140 pound native of Val Rico, Florida started all four years with the Flames racking up 32 goals and 14 assists for 78 points. Gomez was named to the Big South Conference's "First Team" for the 2000 season, and was also named the conference's "Player of the Year" in 2000. Gomez also finished his college career as Liberty's' third all-time leading scorer."

    Hey Peter,

This is in NO WAY motivated by a selfish need to get out of sub-zero weather, but wouldn't it be great if one of these preseason games were broadcast on WBIG?

Oh, waitaminute, replace "in NO WAY" with "ENTIRELY."

He also has a trial with DC, fwiw.

And damn you Liberty! Canadia sucks! (ok... so only about 3 people will get that)

    Bruce?

Did anyone spot BA at the game? I'm certain he was there since all three of his sons were involved.
