A match like this is where Kvara's absence is felt the most. Raspadori needed to score from there, and DiLo should stop trying to cross, as all of his attempts have been brutal so far.

2-0 final. Empoli played lowered in the field than they usually do. They attempted to clog the toilet but we got the job done.

Somehow the only league draws were against Lecce (who have potential to be relegated) and Fiorentina (who only have 16 points after 13 matches). What an oddity

What is different is that no one complains. We stay calm. We continue working. Osimhen work rate helped. Lozano best player.

Fiorentina is a good team at home. Inter was very lucky to win there. Lecce draw was due to players playing who were not integrated in the team yet. But everyone drops silly points.

VS. Lecce, Colombo scored a Hail Mary blaster and the team never recovered. Baschirotto marked Osimhen out of the game and that was that.

VS. Fiorentina, they played with a lot of confidence. Unlike other teams this year, they attacked us and were more worried about their game than ours. Italiano seems to have Spalletti’s #

Beat Udinese to secure being at least 8 points clear with 23 games to go.

Remember, we've already gone to Rome twice, we've played Fiorentina in Florence, Atalanta in Bergamo, and Milan at the San Siro. We need to handle our business against the smaller sides and at home.

Bad news for Mario Rui as he was not selected in the Portugal 26. Good news for us as he will get a rest. Simeone also was named to the shortlist, but wasn't taken.

    2-0 half time. Good half

At this rate there is a 1% chance that we keep Osimhen past next summer. He is on fire.

3-2 final. We avoided a disaster there. Spalletti made some questionable and unnecessary subs. Unless there was an injury, JJ and Olivera were doing fine. Udinese pressed our defenders hard and we kept making mistakes in our end.

But another 3 points. Saluta la capolista assholes

Wow they survived a scare at the end but it was good they hung on.

I'm sure they will look forward to a much needed break until January.

Anyone know the exact amount of Napoli players will be gone for the World Cup?

This break will be a blessing in my opinion. We go again in January with all the pressure on Inter to beat us at the San Siro.

Wow 1/2 of the starters more or less.

At least the rest of the team will be rested and avoid injuries.

Had Italy qualified it would have been worse. Di Lorenzo, Meret, Politano and Raspadori

Depending on the year , teams and players involved, some World Cup tournaments can take their toll on important players.

Not having Italy qualify for this WC which is taking place during the season is actually a mixed blessing for Italian players.

I don’t like JJ he is too slow. Ostigard is better.

Olivera is far superior to Mario Rui.

    Not really.

In attack we have Osimhen, Kvara, Raspadori, Simeone, Politano, Elmas all resting. Only Lozano will be out.

In defense only Olivera and Kim and Mario Rui anyway plays half of the time.

It’s only in midfield were Anguissa and Zielinski will go but Lobotka will get a good break.

Also don’t think any of the teams of Napoli players will go far.

I think all our guys are playing on teams that have round of 16 potential. Korea and Mexico are notorious sleeper teams that are always capable of a surprise. Uruguay IMO has the best chance to go deepest
