Wow. Just wow. We weren't great. Actually, probably our worst performance of the season so far and we still came away with 3 points from the San Siro. That's how Milan won last year, even when they weren't at their best they were just clinical enough and took their chances. Raspadori last week, Simeone this week. We can worry about Bologna tomorrow, tonight we celebrate.
What a fantastic day. Inter and Juve get humiliated. Roma lose deservedly and we beat Milan. Is it Christmas? It’s not a shock that Udinese and Atalanta are also up their with us. They’re lucky in that they don’t have to play Europe this year, however they have good coaches
Udinese will run out of gas once they get enough points to avoid going down to Serie B. Bergamo is on a once in a generation run.
I felt we got away with it a bit. Milan had a lot of chances and the only reason they didn't convert was because of Meret and because they overelaborated. Could have been 2-3 goals more for Milan. We rode our luck, but unlike Milan, we also took our chances well. The substitute Dest, giving us the penalty, changed everything. Pioli had to sub Calabria I guess due to a knock, but Dest was not ready for a contest like this. Our luck. That penalty put us in the driver's seat. Politano took a great penalty, genius. Simeone scored a good one too. Not easy to score what he did. The cross from Rui, exceptional. These were quality goals, make no mistake. We would have taken the draw, but we showed great character to win. Another champion performance. Now a deserved break.
Even more than I thought before. Lozano is just a mindless runner who just bombs down the wing and crosses. Politano brings more to the table, and tracks back consistently well. He's become more selfless lately, which was his biggest knock before.
He was playing for my team previous year . I know him better than everyone except his wife lol. Love this guy bro
Mexico international Lozano was available again after injury, but remained on the bench, as Alessio Zerbin was preferred to him when Politano went off injured. After the final whistle, Lozano was caught on camera refusing to look at Luciano Spalletti’s assistant manager Marco Domenichini, then pushing the staff member away when an embrace was attempted. Sorry to agree with this completely, thinking more bad things without incentive. You all remember how I kept believing in him, but now I must finally admit his acquisition was the worst purchase ever in the whole wide world. Paying this player any kind of money is a waste, only a miracle can help us now regarding him...
I saw what he did on a twitter feed, and it's not cool. He must go. 1571856777905598465 is not a valid tweet id
IMO he's just frustrated he didn't play and that Zerbin got the nod. I don't think we'll have too much trouble finding a buyer for him in January, but finding a quality replacement won't be easy.
That does not change the tiniest little thing. If he wants to play, he should play well. He has not done that so far; moreover, the boy missed, like, all of his BIG chances. Each and every one. How does that justify his salary or him behaving like a child who is full of smug?
No justification, but he is a competitor who wants to play. In any case, I'm in favor of selling him the first chance we get. Italian football doesn't suit his skill set. He needs space to perform more to his qualities. We can find a buyer in England and they will pay a good sum for him.
We have that Norwegian Solbakken aka "The Butcher of Rome" coming in January. Who knows if he will be up to par or they will loan him out.
I heard Roma were going to land Ola. @Euphorius Thor We play Torino on the first and Ajax on 4th. Demme will be available again by then. Osimhen maybe.
To be fair to shitty Lozano, he does what Zerbin does but better, in every way. We need lozano this season, imagine if zerbin has to start games
Di Lo had a good performance against England. Nice little back hell to carve out an opportunity. Did well to put himself into forward positions. I really think he's growing in a more rounded, all action performer who isn't afraid to stick his nose into the box and make things happen.
