Another round of 16 exit? We'll probably not even get out of the group stage depending on who we get.

Every team is probably hoping to get us out of that pot. Literally every coach is capable of putting up tactics vs Allegri

Group D looks like the "weakest", Tottenham should have an easy time with it.

Juve should definitely finish in the top 2 of our group.

Fun fact, Juve has played PSG 8 times in European play, they have won 6 and drawn 2. Let's hope we don't add a couple losses to that this season.

I'd say F. Real Madrid can play a man down against the other 3 from the KO and dominate.

Paris has a standing order for the bomb squad to attend every match. They self detonate with the slightest provocation

We should get out of that group.

Could have been a lot worse.

    Benfica will be the key.

You won’t . Benfica is better You lost to Porto recently and also benfica in 2014 lol. Not sure why you think you will beat them. Porto also finished above Milan last year in the same group .

If things dont change we will definitely struggle against Benfica and PSG. Maccabi we can probably win both games but so might the other 2 teams. When that happen (one team loses all 6 games) the group standing could end up tricky. I remember that one year Napoli finished same points as top 2 but ended up exiting as 3rd place.

For what its worth Benfica has won their last 12 games. Last time we had winning run like that was pre-2018 i believe. Last 2yrs we havent had a winning streak more than 3 games

Benfica is a good team, and I don’t see us winning against PSG. Better pray to god that this team doesn’t implode by October.
I don’t have much faith in this team this year. Plus the injury list is already piling up.

They had a good transfer summer and are defensively quite sound. Going to be tough for Juve.

Juve couldn't get past Porto, no idea why people here are so confident they can get past Benfica.

Been watching Benfica since I was a wee lad and this team may be the best one I've seen yet, including the one that beat that strong Juve side in 2014. At the very least, this recent transfer window was definitely the best I've ever seen. By far too. And it's showing.

Playing PSG & Juventus means that the possibility of going out in the group stage always exists but Benfica have won literally every single game since Schmidt has taken over, pre-season friendlies included. And not just won, but dominated their opponents. The current team is easily above the team that made last year's CL quarter-finals and if all the stars align I wouldn't be surprised if they make the semi-finals. Good games ahead.

    Benfica scooped up Draxler

meanwhile we are getting rid of midfielders…could bite us in the ass once injuries hit. Word is Zakaria might go to chelsea

I guess Fagioloi is staying and could be playing some now.
