Well, at least we'll be at the top if we start winning from this one !!

RvP should be back for this .. Cesc suspended .. Ade should be fit enough for this .. Maybe we'll see Diaby - Denilson midfield for this one ..

    RvP - Ade
    Nasri - Denilson - Diaby - Walcott
    Clichy - Silvestre - Gallas - Toure
    Almunia

We're gonna win this damn game 7 - 0 ! Anyone with me on this one ? :D

We need Song in the middle instead of Diaby. Or maybe play Diaby and Song in the middle. The suspension of Cesc is a good thing in my opinion, the kid needs to get his head sorted out and needs the break.

Wow I'm really dreading a Diaby-Denilson pair, softness to the maximum. :( I won't be expecting to see them get stuck in challenges, besides the usual stupid and dangerous tackles by Diaby.

I agree. I'd prefer Song to be paired with either Diaby or Denilson. Or have all three of them play in a 5-man midfield.

I'd actually prefer a Ramsey/Song partnership, but we all know how Wenger feels about Denilson and Diaby ("I've already given them both 100 games, I can't stop using them now!").

My guess- an amazing Arsenal performance, followed up at Chelsea (is it too early to discuss that?) with another lazy, apathetic performance. This season is like taking part in a zero-gravity airplane flight.

    1-3 to the Arsenal.

Field the carling cup team, but with a Toure-Djouoru CB pairing.

i'd like to see ramsey get the nod to replace cesc. his creativity is going to be needed as diaby and denilson do not exactly bring that to the table. hopefully we nick a point from this match, as citeh are playing well at home. the bar is set a little lower unfortunately.

I'd like to see Ramsey as well. Set pieces with Robinho might be something to avoid...

The right answer. However we all know Wenger is going to play something absurd like Song and Denilson in the middle of the park. Sigh. At the very least Ramsey should be given a chance. If he doesn't start, at least give him the second half to do something when we look toothless the first half. Fabregas being suspended is probably the best thing to happen, the guy needs time off to sort himself out.

Agree with your first point. However, with regards to the second bit the more likely outcome is a dire performance here followed by a world beating performance against Chelsea resulting in a win at SB

Nope. Another top 4 club, the boys will consider them worth showing up for. We'll win that, and then... well, why dwell on it?

Count me down for the Song/Ramsey Midfield. The Villa loss still hurts so its really hard to get amped about this match at the moment.

1-2 to the Arsenal. Adebayor and RvP each. Robinho a goal at the 75th minute to make it nervy.

    GO ON YOU GUNNERS!! (...please??!!)

    Should be a good game.

City have been solid at home, and they play football, so im sure we'll win.

Anybody else worried about Robinho carving up our defense? After the ease with which Abonglahor got past our back 4.....

Arsene should play a 3 man midfield if we want to see Ramsey. With Ramsey at CAM and Denilson playing box to box, Song as cover behind them. That could be a good engine for this match.

I share that same level of apathy. This team seems to care very little about the games, and that is spreading to me very easily.

I'll still be up at the crack of dawn to find a servicable stream for the game, though.

id just have Denilson and Ramsey alternating between CAM and CM... Ramsey has a better engine than Denilson...

Ramsey will be playing midweek, along with pretty much everyone else.

Do i need to draw you a map?

Ramsey is starting midweek. Diaby and Denilson aren't even called up.

    I doubt he starts.

Bring on Jack Wilshere. With Theo and Eboue hurt, are only other wide player is Nasri. I think Wenger will go with Daiby on the wing with Denilson and Song in the middle though. Hopefully i'm wrong and he starts Wilshere because i think he has the right attitude to impress regardless of his age.
