Warne rested players so a very good win. I think Hartlepool are the team who knocked Wednesday out so they had a good run. It shows how we have a fairly decent squad I suppose. Absolute nightmare today, dare I say Warne was trying to be too clever resting players. I know I've said we have a fairly decent squad but you can't afford to rest nearly half of your regular starting 11 in a league game unless you're Man City. Sutton were 2mins away from lifting the trophy and the way they (and we) played they would have deserved it. We only really got going in extra time whether that was due to us having better fitness or not no idea but it shows good character. Hopefully we will take a lot of confidence out of it going into the 3 horse race for automatic promotion, it wouldn't have been easy to pick ourselves up if we had lost this.
