I was on the road driving to miami so couldn't really watch but I saw what I could.

But that was the best game I've ever seen from the US in my life.

Tough to say what their true capacity is because Paraguay are so shit.

The work rate, the press, the left side of the field was a total joke. Pulisic ripped them apart over and over.

It is odd how the Swiss have only 1 goal ahead of Qatar...

I had $100 on Qatar causing an upset; had they actually won, it would have turned to almost $1400. Should have chosen the tie.

also, now really want us to go through. We would run into the USA at some point if we go far.

would love to put 5 past the US again

I hate reading and listening about the us everywhere I go, so I rather get rid of them asap.

Mexico has the same effect on me, they're like the nasty roaches that show up in your house

    Spectacular game.

We better hope we don't run into Morocco. James against this Morocco will get eaten up alive

They are the epitome of the modern team

Brazil is getting eaten alive by another modern pressing side. It's clear where the game is, we should get a young bold coach who embraces the modern game after this World Cup and throw away the old coaches, thought that was Lorenzo but he ditched it.

the teams that triumph today are the teams that work, no more lazy assholes, no more half assing. That era is over.

Alot of South American soccer wants to hold onto the old game but it's gone, it's dead. We actually produce the players to play that style, we have better midfielders than Brazil and we have forwards that put in a shift defensively we just need a coach to embrace that and now that James and Quintero are done there is a ton of young guys coming through who we can mold into that.

Diaz, Arias, Rios, all thrive in these types of games.
