Call our players pecho frios and chokers

because Colombians think that when Colombians lose at anything, it’s only because they are soft and weak. They play alone I guess. Not like the other more talented teams or athletes have anything to do with that result

if we fall into the same pattern of mistakes post Copa America 24, then i think heavy criticism against Nestor is warranted...

Lorenzo may end that streak though.
Unless he calls up a surprise like Villa.

we dont have to be on the extremes on this..

Yes, Lorenzo had a good Copa America.
but also since.. he has had a HORRID time as a manager. the team lacks work and it shows.

both of these things are not exclusive of each other..

It is more games too.. so more players may get chances so others can rest up.

Puerta didn't play or get called up until New Zealand and pretty sure he is going.

As for me I can only remember up to 2014... before that I was too young.

Juan Fer replaced Macnelly.... which he still butt hurt about but time shown it was the right choice. Carlos Valdez didn't play in qualifiers either.

2018.... Lerma huge piece of team now and Quintero biggest failure was being born around the same time as James. Wish he could have been born to be on the 2002 - 2012 cycle.

    - correct about Puerta, he scored a goal that game as well

    - i have you pegged for at least 50 years old ;)

    - i think you're right about JFQ replacing Macnelly; Carbonero replaced Aldo; the CB's during the '14 cycle were primarily Yepes/Perea/Aquivaldo/Valdez/Zapata with Zapata barely featuring...

    - Lerma showed up in that France friendly pre 18-WC. i'll always remember him laying out Pogba which earned my respect

    - JFQ - wish a lot of things could have been different about his career... but yeah him in the 2002 - 2012 era would have been fun

He is right that Puerta did not play. Wrong about not being called up for WCQs.

he debuted vs New Zealand wasn't sure if he was called up to qualifiers didn't think he was.

Either way I think Puerta is going and will be a starter by the end.

Have you done the buffet? Its expensive as hell, I haven't gone recently because I have no one to go with me and its impossible to do on your own since its like 140 bucks or something

yes, it’s expensive but the beef is great.

we have cheaper ones in the area that are $30-40 all you can eat but man I can’t even get through a 2nd plate without running to the bathroom beef quality is great.

when we go to Boston with friends we go for lunch. It’s way more affordable

There’s one by my office. It’s been awhile.

I’m really into Korean BBQ / wings - I live in Long Island City and it’s like Little Asia here. I get these wings from Kuku Korean Cuisine and they are bad ass

Exactly my thoughts, we were playing well into the COPA, we were confident and had a system that created results, since then we have not been good, we look lost and lack confidence and Lorenzo hasn't really been able to adjust or return us to a confident side that plays well. Going into COPA I thought we were with Argentina the favorites and I was confident and we didn't disappoint, and I have no real expectations for this World Cup, its possible for us to reclaim that form but there is no real reasons to think that based on what we've seen in the last year. The game is dynamic and Lorenzo had an original plan and is now out of ideas and unable to rise to the occasion, hopefully he's let go after the World Cup because he's regressed.
