James, JuanFer and Carrascal were all three on the Copa America roster.
I do not see Lorenzo straying away from that but we shall see. He may surprise us and get some other ideas during these March friendlies..

I think we mostly just talk about him in the Brazilian thread. If we did have a thread for him it would not really get many posts since we talk about him in that thread. And also he has barely played the last few months due to injury.
You can create a thread about him though if you want.

This is where it is probably to our advantage that we are playing at such high altitude in Mexico. It would be hard for them to bunker and play defensive without possession for 90 minutes in such conditions. Their lungs will just not be ready for it never really having to play in such conditions.
At least most of our players have had to play in Quito and much higher altitudes in Bolivia.

Falcao and Rodallega are training and playing at similar altitude almost every other week... Just saying...

he doesn't use Carascal as a James back up tho. He plays him like Gomez, Carbonero, Diaz. That is why I think his spot is up in the air.

Carascal is not better than Quintero at #10 and way way worst than every other winger option he has called.

For me it is Yaser or Carascal as a winger/James 3rd back up. At that point he going with Yaser who he really likes

rather he give Arias a shot in James spot as 2nd backup and drops Yaser & Carascal to bring Carbonero & Gomez.

I mean 90% of you want Ospina ... for leadership.....

I feel Falcao/Ospina should retire and just join the team as part of the coaching staff. We got Cambiasso as a NT coach at 2018. Why not these 2

Even if what you are saying is true. James, Carrascal, JuanFer and Yaser were all on the Copa America roster. I am not sure they have done anything wrong these last two years to lose their spots on another tournament roster. Unless Lorenzo does a major shift in philosophy and tactics.

Cambiasso was retired and wanted to be a coach.
There is no indication that Falcao or Ospina want to be coaches. They want to be on the roster as players.

Ospina and leadership are antonyms, that man barely talks..
I call him bobo litro or el bobo

we should be calling a young keeper with Vargas and Montero

Duran being called out is wonderful. I am genuinely impressed with the open transparency of the issues around him.

I am not going to call El Pibe a liar but does he really know what happened during the alleged incident or is he just going off the rumors that all the Colombian media was circulating?
I mean, he probably has some inside sources since he is El Pibe but I am wondering if this is all second hand knowledge and gossip or something really did go down with Duran and he was there.

I mean Diaz saying Duran a 22 year old with like 5 NT games and maybe 3-4 encounters with him would be the villain in the Luis Diaz Spiderman movie haha.... yea that seems odd

it was Bayern who asked. Diaz is 29.... has been on NT duty for a long time, was in England and now Germany. You would think it would be a top GK or CB that has given him hell.

Or Messi for beating him at Copa America.... nope a 22 year old he met a few times. Even as a joke that seems really odd.

Remember prelist does not mean he will be on the roster but it is still an accomplishment and honor to be on the Radar.

tough if we had non fifa games in dec/jan I could see him on the team but it’s over for everyone not named Duran

hope this Duran gets a better transfer next season even if it’s 2nd division Spain/england to keep improving
