Still wavering on whether or not the send off friendly will be in Bogota or Medellin due to the playing surface? lol.

A Friendly in California is interesting. I wonder where it will be? Maybe FroBoy will be able to see them play in San Diego.

Or LA; likely LA since they have bigger stadiums. What are the chances that its gonna be Mexico AGAIN?

True. It would have to be the coliseum where USC plays American football or an MLS stadium though. Cannot play in the World Cup stadium that close to the tournament.

Mexico already has a friendly in Pasadena in June against Australia so it is not likely to be them.

mexico won’t play us. They only want to play us when they think they have a chance. They get spanked and cry about it for the next few months like the world is ending

their media loves to say they are the same level as Argentina and a bit better than Brazil. So when we dominate them and they have to accept reality their brains explode.

Against Spain in the Coliseum would be a cool experience. Italy would be cool too.

It will probably be something stupid like Qatar in an MLS stadium though. (I hope not.)

It would not make much logistical sense for Colombia to play in Guadalajara on the 5th then play in California on the 8th only to fly back to Mexico city for the World Cup.
I am calling BS on the Korea match but you never know. Money talks.

I ended up with the hospitality tickets for the Portugal game in Miami

and I’ll go to both friendlies in March.

that is enough Colombia for me for this year since my ten applications all got denied

haha weren't the Portugal games like 4k?

I thought potentially Miami would have been our home base or NYC if it was rigged. Cough.... Argentinas ride seems rigged again.

Sadly no tickets to Miami were available in the September Round of ticket sales.

Yeah - i am also going to the Portugal game via hospitality ticket (luckily got it the day they announced the stadiums). I am trying to get tickets for Brazil-Morocco at Metlife - but i am not holding my breath for it. a shame that this ticket process is full of shady practices to jack up prices.

If you want a laugh for today = check out the prices for parking for the Miami games.
    https://www.justpark.com/us/event-parking/fifa-world-cup-2026/miami-stadium/

For $250 you can get a parking pass. An ADA Parking Pass is a 15-18 minute walk to the stadium while a regular parking pass is about a 1 minute walk... no love for ADA folks...

I heard parking prices went up

Boston game parking was $75 and $90 for each game in NYC for me.

I also had to prove I have tickets to the games. They aren't suppose to sell them to you if you don't have tickets to the game. Guess they don't want another Copa America final

I can't complain; with France and Croatia, we have enough strong opponents.

So it did end up being San Diego which makes sense to me. Newer stadium that is bigger than the MLS stadiums in Los Angeles. Coliseum would have been too big for a match against Jordan.
It also ended up being the 7th and not the 8th so the Korea match rumor is probably bogus.
