It's kind of funny to watch. It will be giffed, memed and morphed now.... The Swiss manager think's it wasn't worthy of a card. :p

They need to start being more consistent with yellow cards for acting. It shouldn't matter if the other player got a yellow. No card should carry over. Excessive acting, sure yellow all you want but not because it has to carry over. Another ridiculous make pretend rule.

Colombian fans have represented us well. Not just the stadiums, they took over cities across three countries. I had an incredible experience watching us play Portugal.

I've only attended the Argentina - Swiss game to see their fans but I thought their fans were great too - sang the whole game (with honestly better variety of tunes than I think we have in our arsenal) and kept their team in it when Scaloni waited long to make his changes.

I can only imagine what it would have been to have seen us and our fans take on the Argies in KC... Alas.

So honestly since we were knocked out via penalties, I lost sleep for 2 days.

I consider myself passionate but man it hurts each time but in a situation of how we lost, it just bothered me so much. Had to take the following day off and focus on myself mentally.

I hate waiting every four years but I love you guys and our players each and every time we play. I hope in 2030 I can watch us play in person.

I am now gonna do that. I occupied myself with commissioning and making concept art for my book for over a week now. It helps distract the pain.

it stings for all of us. Heck - all of us here have been nearly every day or every other day contributors for years bc of our passion for the team and country.

in some ways, we know too much for our own good which makes things worse at times.

That’s so awesome you were able to let loose with your art! Good way to blow off that steam. The day after the game I had my fastest 30 mile bike ride over the past 3 years in the park.

I promise you we will laugh it off kinda like how we poke fun at the triple cinco these days lol

Honestly I am just proud that I did it effectively. Nation flags, Anagonist art, and I have 2 artists nearing some essential art pieces for the portfolio. It feels productive and satisfying.

I feel like there is no intention to foul but he is being penalized for lack of awareness i guess

It was a clumsy foul indeed. Which is still a foul. Intention does not have to be there.

Great first half by Spain. So calm and composed. Really don't know any other team that can play their way out of complicated situations without getting nervous.

2-0. Such a good game. Will not celebrate yet Argentina were also 2-0 up.

France getting outplayed. I told you before, they beat them last year and two years ago, don't know why it would that surprising to see Spain beat them again tbh

They are the most complete team on the planet with so much depth at every single position.

And they have been this way since pretty much July of 2024.

they have not been impressive this WC they got a PK and then countered... not exactly dominating

3rd goal by Lamal was nasty wish it counted....

again if were not pecho frios had beaten the Swiss and somehow beaten Argentina(doable)

we would have rocked England then Spain. Only team I worried about was France and to a lesser extent Norway because of Haaland
