Good luck. I'm hoping for one game in either KC or Philly--but did not do this lottery, as MRS KG and I need to figure out available dates (some depend on her coworkers).
I used the link and (once logged in) see that one of my random draw application to three Boston matches was accepted: England-Ghana. I'm excited to see world cup soccer!
nothing is official until getting emails but looking currently like: Holland/Japan US/Australia US/Euro I'll try to fill in a few extra games (US/Paraguay, France/Senegal). I know a lot of LONG time fans (higher level US Soccer $ levels/very high cap totals) who got nothing so feel exceptionally lucky with what I did get.
I was really hoping to catch a match, especially if Hungary had qualified since demand would be so minimal vs a USMNT match.... But uh, they didn't.
Sounds like the above link is showing both supporters and random ticket draw results. Reading on reddit that emails starting going out this afternoon. Good luck to all.
Apparently FIFA emails are starting to go out. With the number of applications, it could take some time. Best of luck to all.
My application hasn’t come through yet, but I’m assuming I didn’t get selected. BUT - we had a group that was collectively going in for games with an agreement to go together and one in the group got Spain-Cape Verde in Atlanta!
1) Log in to your FIFA ticket account where you applied for the draw 2) Edit the URL of that page by adding /files? at the end after account That will take you to the purchase history page which has been hidden while they add tickets to accounts. Anything that shows on there is yours as long as the card charge goes through next week. Edit - here is the full link that you can just C&P into your browser AFTER you've logged into the FIFA ticketing portal and gotten dropped at the landing page: https://fifa-fwc26-us.tickets.fifa.com/account/files?
Yeah, I’ve been periodically checking that over the last couple days and don’t have anything yet! Oh well, at least we still landed tickets to see Steven Moreira!
I am willing to sell the following at cost to a fellow Crew fan: Two Cat 1 Algeria vs Austria in Kansas City Saturday 6/27, kickoff at 9pm CT My friend did not clear an extra leg of travel with his wife after we get home from the PNW and Mexico, and I've already seen a game at Arrowhead.
Why are they calling it “Kansas City Stadium” instead of Arrowhead? Arrowhead isn’t a commercial name like Mercedes Benz Stadium or Lincoln Financial Field.
If anyone is going to a game in Seattle you can DM me and I can give you a bunch of recommendations on various things if you are interested.
I am guessing for the international audience and travelers it is simpler to have the city name as the stadium name.
I'm heading to Seattle. Went last year for the first time for the OSU/Washington game and it's a tremendous city.
I was hoping to go a few years ago and had the trip planned. In May 2020. Oops. We did get out to the PNW a couple years later but the Seattle part didn't happen. Was hoping to see PSU-Washington this year, but as Mrs KG is an accountant, that's in the middle of prime budget planning.
