Germany should do better, looked rusty at start - missed passes. Started to settle down as the game went on. Still looks like a team trying to get used to each other. About Karl, most of the play seems to be on the left, but once Karl gets the ball he is double teamed. Concerns about the ref, he seems indecisive. On one German freekick it looked like he wanted to spot the ball, on the other the linesman came out to control the kick. Hopefully it won't impact the game.
I thought it worked well. Nmecha as the all-action engine that pushes forward while Pavlovic is the stabilizing force quarterbacking the side.
So yes German team dominated but the game seemed very slow … some how Will have to see again how Nmecha played with Pavlovic difficult to say as Finland was really not good at all
I think the squad/lineup wasn't quite on the same page in the first half, but as they grew in comfort level, they started to take control and create a lot of chances.
Does anyone know which hotel in Chicago Germany team will be staying next week? I am planning to go to see the match and want to book a hotel on 6th nearby so can see the players and possibly a click with Neuer
