Here is your quote that aged extremely well, "Now he's determined to sink this team as long as he's around." sink the team he says... As Ronaldo won us another trophy scoring the deciding goals vs Germany and Spain to bring us to PKs...

Lol enjoy your Nations League victory while teams like Spain and France continue to win World Cups and Euros because they understand the importance of getting younger.

I don’t think you’re legally allowed to call anyone a cuck when 100% of your posts are spinning on Ronaldo’s knob. You keep saying I’m not Portuguese when you literally put an individual above your country. I can’t don’t think I can think of anything more embarrassing if I tried. Thinking this person “saved us” is so cringe it’s hard to read. Nuno Mendes was the best player. Pepe was the best player at the euro we won. Ronaldo is the best European player ever, doesn’t mean you have to deep throat him and invent narratives and defend him at every opportunity. There’s 11 people there, stop giving credit to one person.

....yet you blame all of our failures on one person? The same Person that scores a goal a game for us? When no other striker in the world can do that, yet you want him off the team for no good reason and then say others have a fixation? Delusional.

Your being emotional about a very logical topic...... If you were Portuguese you would want Portugal to have the best possible chance to win the WC. Portugals best opportunity to win the WC isn't with ronaldo playing 90min and it isn't with joao neves playing as RB.

Your right he scored vs Germany and spain, in my opinion with our best 11 i think we should of absolutely destroyed what i believe is the weakest germany team we've seen in the last 15yrs. Aside from his goal vs spain, Ronaldo did absolutely nothing. when we play vs teams we will dominate possession against i have no problem with ronaldo starting, he can hang out in the box and utilize his only quality left (finishing) however vs the worlds elite team.... spain, France, Argentina etc where we will struggle to dominate possession ronaldo has no business starting for the reasons ive mentioned 100 times in other posts but in case you never read them..... HE CANT RUN! HIS FIRST TOUCH IS NON EXISTENT, and on top of that the man is an emotional wreck.

Yeah, except I never blamed any failure on one person. I've never said anything remotely close to that. Fvck me.

Everyone keeps saying the reason people don't want him to start, you just keep ignoring it. You guys just read what you want and make up quotes and then get irrationally angry when people don't want to suck his dick.

The amount of crying you do about him being on the team only leads to 1 inference that can possibly be made.

This is the Definition of gaslighting for anyone interested.

Wanting someone that scores a goal a game is sucking d.

But wanting someone that scores a goal a game off the team so that they could score....less goals...is ...brilliant analysis according to espnfc, I mean SCP21

It's hilarious after the NL the only thing the haters of truth could do is eat crow...and yet here we are.

Funny that for a moment even ESPNfc gave it to Cristiano before going back to their "he's washed up and should not be on the team" garbage...seems some of our posters missed that clip when formulating "their" thoughts and forgot to give credit where it was due.

Probably why they want to say NL is all of a sudden a friendly. Rather would watch Portugal lose if it meant Ronaldo looked bad then them win with him scoring all because their stupid opinion was wrong.

lmao the guy that lost his mind to the extent he hoped I would kill myself is saying I'm crying. Ok.

The fact that your brain only works in terms of goals scored and nothing else is so in character for your dumb ass. Take off a guy that camps and scores tap ins automatically leads to scoring less? Or maybe it leads to more team play and scoring goals in different ways... Nah, couldn't be that. Best teams in the world play like that, getting the whole team involved, but no, Portugal shouldn't. PSG went from embarrassing themselves every year while playing for Mbappe to being the best team in the world playing like a team. But nah, wouldn't work for Portugal. Better to just play for one 40 year old dude who played like shit in Saudi Arabia all year and hasn't had a good real tournament in forever. Who cares if he scores zero goals and contributes nothing in Euros and World Cups, look at all the super prestigious Nations Leagues we won!!!!!!

And hey, if it doesn't work, it's because he doesn't get service and his teammates are jealous. If it does work, it because they magically shifted from wingers to "forwards" in the exact same formation and he got service. Either way, Ronaldo has never been at fault for anything and its always everyone elses fault. People would at least take your dumb ass more seriously if you could admit when he played like shit. But consistently blaming everyone except him when Portugal plays like shit is ridiculous. Consistently saying it's some big espnfc conspiracy against the most popular athlete on the planet whenever someone points out he played like shit is ridiculous. Saying Ramos got his shot and wasted it against Morocco, when Ronaldo also played like shit, but refusing to mention that part is also ridiculous. Why can't you admit he played like shit in that game? Instead you guys say Portugal would've won if he started? Based on ********ing what? His previous performances in that tournament? Just admit he played like shit that tournament. Anything else is dick sucking at its finest. At least try to sound you care about Portugal more than Ronaldo, but you can't even admit to a single bad performance. Hence, you desperately want to suck his dick.

People just want someone that contributes to the game. It's really not that deep. I think he would do very well coming off the bench when the team is tired. Him starting is a waste.

Whether he should be starting or not is one question but the fact that he’s still making it a question at the age of 40 is extraordinary.

I don’t personally know where I sit on the topic after the last two games. I don’t think Ramos would have equaled Ronaldo’s tally against Germany and Spain.

Then again; he’s ********ing 40. He can still finish and will always have the vision. But his finishing isn’t nearly as good as his peak although he can still get into positions.

Jota, if he didn’t nab that role when he was at his peak at Liverpool he ain’t getting it now.

Ronaldo got 8 goals in 9 games. You can hate on the guy, and I have after Euro 2024 where he was real trash but his numbers continue to be impressive. And if it was just the fact that he got goals against lesser teams that’s one thing. Even that is valuable in and of itself. To have a striker that always scores against the lesser teams is valuable, even if that same guy goes missing against the biggest teams. But if he’s doing that, and also scoring against Germany and Spain, what reason could there be to bench him? Asking genuinely.

Sick to my stomach.. Just the other month I was thinking hypothetically what if our players died on a plane crash or bus accident.. How would we recoup.. Then the other week after our Nations League Title, I am thinking again how Portugal has never tragically lost a NT player weird ominous deja vu type foreshadowing stuff.. Until now.. WOW I am speechless, he just got married, prayers to Rute... They were together forever.. He was arguably our best striker behind Ronaldo too.. Big shoes to fill.. DIOGO YOU WILL NEVER WALK ALONE.. REST IN POWER KING..

Rest in power, Diogo and André. We feel such a closeness to our footballing heroes, and despite their exceptional talents, they are human beings, and life is just too damn short...my condolences to our Portuguese brothers and sisters, the Jota family and friends, and all those supporters out there wherever you may be.

Who the f*ck will ever replace Jota on our NT.. Time for Andre Silva to step back up.. Either that or Ramos absorbs all of this and goes on a generational rampage for Diogo...

It's heartbreaking to hear people already discussing who will replace him on the field. He and his brother tragically passed away just yesterday, shortly after his wedding. He will be deeply missed.

Trust me.. I am gutted, Jota was one of my all time favorite players.. That's why I am sitting here thinking who will fill his shoes (if that's even possible).. I think two steps ahead in life, that's just how I am..

Yeah unbelievably sad, just won with Liverpool, won the nations league with Portugal, then got married.. On top of the world and so young at 28 then boom dies in a fiery car crash... Horrible. I will never get over this, one of my favorite players ever. He always put his entire heart into every game he played for Portugal.. Played with aggression and true passion, never scared..

Saw he was trending all day but just now a post about why...it is heartbreaking. I'm older and life is such a gift, and something to be grateful for every day. What a tragedy.

    Jesus Andre Silva too. Ugh.
