You gotta admit, it's a little ironic that you're whining about portuguese people losing that dawg mentality and then going straight to complaining that fifa loves everyone except portugal and portugal are perpetual victims. Real dawg mentality baby.

Were all those red cards for blatant violent conduct?

You're really naive if you think there's no preferential treatment involved in the decision. Not just because of who Ronaldo is, but who he belongs to. As we know, FIFA is a squeaky clean organization. I'm sure if it was an Irish player with no history that elbowed Ronaldo, they would receive the same benefits of this 'Article 27'.

Man these draws are always so cringe... but we'll finally see who we'll play in the group phase.

    Portugal drawn in Group K.

We always seem to be drawn in the later groups.

Uzbekistan is the Pot 3 team... I was sure they were going to France's group, not sure why they went to us, but better than Norway!

Argentina vs Portugal in the quarters if they both win their groups.

    Was about to post.

We will have to beat them and the referees and not lose our heads because we will get at least one red for retaliation after they injure a second player intentionally without even receiving a yellow. Not to mention at least 2 phantom pks for them and var taking back a clear goal for us for a phantom foul that happened 2 minutes earlier.
If there's any group that can over come the machine it's us.

Maybe after CR7's visit to the White House we will get the dodgy calls in our favour

Good group. I like that they play Colombia last.

Pretty easy draw.. Though I would’ve loved to see us play Cape Verde or Haiti.. Uzbekistan and possibly Congo or Jamaica is the best possible draw for us.. Colombia game will be incredibly entertaining..

Mexico, Atlanta and Texas.. What a joke, biggest Portuguese population in America resides within Massachusetts and there’s not a single game there..

Hopefully it’s near a concentrated Portuguese diaspora like MetLife Stadium, New Jersey, or Boston. However, I feel like they are going to drop the ball and have them play in Miami because they will try to use Ronaldo to target the Hispanic demographic, and not realize the difference or care about it.

If they put that game in Miami it will be because of Colombia, not Ronaldo.

They're not playing in Massachusetts because they weren't drawn in a group that will be playing there. Simple as that.

The final is MetLife Stadium near all the Portuguese in New Jersey. Portugal is in the WC to win it.

Cut the crap, it’s never that simple. They brought Colombia AND Ronaldo to Miami purely to cash in on the Hispanic market. It’s all calculated for profit. Portuguese are too small a demographic for anyone to care, but Ronaldo’s the only card we’ve got to force venues and stadiums if we tried to make things work in the favor of the Portuguese. But what is done is done.

Never thought I'd have no interest in going to a Portugal World Cup game but went to the World Club Cup final with my dad over the summer, got him tickets for his birthday, and wow it was friggin miserable. Hot as balls, people getting up and walking around literally every minute. Pretty sure he told me "Please don't get World Cup tickets. We can just watch it at home in comfort" Lol.

Fug it, I was at the Euro 2016 final. I'll die happy with that.
