it’s good to see them with good dispositions and the atmosphere light in training i’m really hoping that the realness of the next 3 games will bring out a level of determination and fire we haven’t seen bc that’s the only thing i can hope happens at this point. those kits are fire. can’t believe it took closer to a decade to get here with them. to say it’s been a long period of tweaking is an understatement. All HMB needs to do is pair HIB with a taller CDM to bring some balance. Surely he must have in mind the height of the Czechs?

Our advantages: -Our team began to train at a high altitude weeks early because the game will be played at a high altitude. -Due to the Czech Republic's busy schedule and the location of their training ground, the team had no time to get adjusted to the high altitude. -South Africa has to play in Atlanta for the second game. Our team will play in Mexico for all three of our group stage games. Thus, we have much less travel distances in our group stage. -South Africa got two red cards and Mexico's key defender got a red card. Our disadvantages: -HONG MYUNG-BO -The Czech Republic has tall and strong players, which would be advantageous for set pieces. -Mexico will have home advantage. -Mexico trained at an even higher altitude. -The South African players have good teamwork and are good at passes. -The South African players are originally from a high altitude region.
neither are going all out and this tourney with the number of teams hence the important best of 3rd place teams n such, SA is sandbagging the game.
Mexico plays their best futbol when there’s some kind of flame beneath their asses. Playing a lowly team as their first game even at home isn’t that type of flame. they’re going to benvery difficult in Guadalajara since they see us as an actual threat. Czech scores like 90% of their goals thru set pieces. I doubt we will but we need to body the F out of them
The mexican climate in the summer is exactly like ROK’s. We might be in the same temperate zone if i’m not mistaken. Those yellow african jersies made it very easy to see how shit their defense actually is. They had atrocious first touch throughout the game…..if we lose or tie to these guys Hong needs to be fired on the spot no excuses
lol Czechia's bus got stuck in middle of the road and the players had to stay in the bus for 1+ hr and then they had to walk to the training ground.
funnily… I think we have a shot at topping the group (which I don’t want… we need to go 2nd seed) Mexico and South Africa both looked very beatable… I know some of that is first game jitters but we are FAR more talented… if SHM was a year or two younger, this wouldn’t even be a question… or if we had any other manager… I actually think tonight’s game will be the most difficult one… absolutely need to win obviously…
