If we win (or tie) we will either play Ecuador, Senegal, or whoever ends up 3rd in group L: England, Croatia, or Ghana. If Ghana wins, we get Croatia, regardless of what England does to Panama.

Our opponent for round of 16 would be the winner of Switzerland vs Iran/Austria/Algeria.

Most likely, that gives use Argentina in round of 8...

If we lose to Portugal, we get whoever comes in 2nd between England, Croatia, Ghana.

Our opponent would then be Spain in round of 16...followed by a much easier round of 8 team.

If you we want to dream, the likely semi finals opponents would be Brazil/England if we handle Portugal ...France/Germany if we lose.

    So....LET'S WIN! (or tie)

That is because the match is in Florida and not Mexico.

The tournament so far within the Group Stage has had some really good games and even some teams that have surprised some favorite teams in matches with draws and playing them strong. This Portugal vs. Colombia game however in my opinion could easily go down as the best of them all when all is said and done. I really don't know who will come out on top, but I am pretty damn sure that it will be one hell of a game.

Wonder what the machado change was all about. Mojica played great vs Kongo. Personally I would prefer to start with suarez, if Cordoba would disappoint it doesn't feel like Suarez would improve anything after seing his first games.

Oh munoz also subbed out. In a way I'm happy about it. Don't want any stupid red card.

Cordoba doesn’t make sense…. Should have kept Suarez or put in Cucho. We need a faster more agile striker tho hope he proves me wrong

only change would be Gomez/Campaz for James ….. but James is our difference maker so get why he didn’t do it.

now 2nd half hope coach choices correctly again depending what the team actually needs

they said on caracol that Mojica was working out separately from the team the last couple of practices. likely precaution after a knock he took in the congo game.

off of short rest after how exhausted James was its crazy to start him in this game but that's Lorezno. I'm glad we have some rotations, the fullbacks did a ton of work in the first 2 games, Suarez did too. Lerma is on a yellow, Puerta killed himself running the first 2 games would have thought 1 of them if we're rotating would have gotten a rest,

Big gamble starting Lucumi and Lerma. Playing soft down the middle to not get a yellow doesn't sound promising.

Fatigure or an injury is my guess. The amount of sprints and running that guy did you can't keep up without drop off or injury. We exerted alot agasint Congo playing with that intensity, we have to learn from the Copa and rest and rotate if we want to make a run.

It must be because of physical stuff as other two players have yellows…
Not a fan of this XI but either way let’s do this!

It seems they are in the bench so it could just be rest rather than something more serious
I did read the Suarez was a bit hurt from the last game

Portugal took out maybe their best player in Joao Neves but otherwise is the same from last game, 41 year old Ronaldo starts after playing most of the minutes for the first 2 games.

Croatia re take the lead so first place is Ghana, then likely the Swiss then Argentina. Second would be Croatia, then Spain. Sooo 1st does seem like a much better path if it stays the same.
