“Economic boost to the community, that’s what we’re here for,” claimed one smiling Aussie. My Aussie countrymen doing us proud
And similar emergencies being declared in Boston and Providence as the Scots drink the pubs dry. I can assure you as a former resident of both cities this is a truly incredible accomplishment by the Tartan Army.
I see Bell-end-ingham scored yesterday for Engurland - thus making his head an inch more swollen..... I reallllly can;t stand that guy......
Better hope that the Australians don;t end up playing Scotland in a dry-town .... If so, all of Trump's vaunted skills at non-nuclear-izing won;t be able to stop the meltdown......
Where's @newterp? He hasn't [posed since Monday afternoon - very unlike him, with so much going on. Hope he's OK. Anyone heard from him?
Was in San Diego from Sunday for a conference - watching the games on west coast time was a bit of a mess while at the conference haha. Going to the Brazil game tomorrow. Then I need a break!
'Cuz I liked him when he made a few appearances under Klopp, and then didn't know what happened to him...and thought, with Slot, he might still be in the squad, but "too young"...
Wow those black Canada kits are wild. I like them, just couldn't tell who was playing when I first came on line.
The QATAR player looked very upset, and he apologized to the Canada team in the dressing room after the game. However the behaviour of the Qatar bench was a disgrace, and late in the game their players were putting in snide niggly challenges.
Horrible injury, hate to see things like this, marred a great day for Canada. Brought back very bad memories of Cisse. The new expanded, money-making format brings more lower level agricultural teams into the picture, and increases the risks of situations like this.
True..... but as for Cisse - nobody injured him as I recall. although I might be wrong - just the crazy torgue of his own movement.
