Last time we played them to a 1-1 draw and Roger scored a nice one. Which may be a reason why he is on the roster this time around but who knows.

This match gives me some bad feelings. I would not be surprised if we draw or even lose. Hopefully we get three points though and most importantly stay healthy.

All things considered, we have the best super sub in the world right now. Saving him and using all od his stamina in the last 20 minutes could be the difference that gets us 3 points.

Still, it is baffling how FIFA continues to allow such inhumane environments.

If you cant handle the heat stay outta the kitchen. Or field in this case. Our environment is far from unique and not to the extreme of Qatar despite hosting during winter.

Isn't Duran suspended this game? Maybe they should allow "respiration breaks" since they have cooling breaks during games of extreme heat. Give all players an oxygen tank for 10 minutes where they can recover.

Anyway it's not really the same thing I think. I haven't watched the Bolivian lineup but a great percentage is from the local league so that will give them more of an advantage that Quilla gives Colombians.

Is James even going to be capable of playing 45 minutes in this place where you can't even breathe

I think so yes. His best asset is his decisionmaking and passing and dead ball deliveries. So I think we'd see more of a decline in lucho and other players that rely more on their speed and pace. At least in the last 20 minutes of the game.

Argentina did manage to score one before Bolivia was red carded. Ecuador did manage to beat them and were only tied at the 83rd minute.

Now given Bolivia's confidence with recent results they will most certainly try to continue their streak for another 3 points; we are the better team regardless of the altitude so we simply need to be patient with our football and gradually make Bolivia more desperate.

I think the issue is how it affects players for the next game. I like the idea of just playing a totally different line up, its hard to get a result either way and we can save guys for the last 30 minutes to go out get us over the line if needed and if we can't do it so be it. Chile stinks real bad anyways, but idk Bolivia is not so much about the actual game as much as managing the insane conditions.

Just realized game is tomorrow. We were supposed to have a hurricane but it ended up being nothing but BS and marketing as usual

So I still have to go to work. I wish we could get at least a little bit of hurricanes so I can stay home and sleep but no they always end up going up north. Everytime

The local news do milk the shit out of it man but hurricanes are no joke. Ian killed a lot of people just two years ago

    Helene tore through North Carolina

Andrew damn near destroyed Miami back in the day

Miami for some reason has a rep for hurricanes but all we get are cockteases.

Andrew was the only legit one and that was like 30 years ago.

Poor NC has no idea what hurricanes even are. They weren't ready for that. All the hillbillies in the tiny towns got wrecked

Yeah they haven’t come through Miami in a while and I’m glad. The 18 months I lived there, the streets flood so easily. Especially downtown and bricked

Yeah here it floods for no reason. It's like colombians and injuries or yerry Mina and hospitals.
