Fox is the exclusive linear TV partner of MLS, showing two MLS games next Friday; they don't have to mention Apple.

The mentality was not there, and it was even noticeable by neutrals watching the game. When a couple players who the team—for a lack of a better word—relies on then start off playing cautiously, it easily spreads throughout the team. It’s especially true when the other team takes away a couple of things you have found success in; you need the right mentality to adjust on the fly.

The Belgians plainly got it right with their tactical plan but there was very clearly something off about the our players that game, and there's a very big elephant in the room that people are attempting to dodge while explaining it

I think we owe Spain some support for putting down Belgium for us.

Bad flashback to Andres Escobar and 1994 -- Columbian midfielder Jaiminton Campaz and his family are receiving death threats after Columbia's loss to Switzerland. "Fans" are apparently blaming Campaz' missed shot in extra time for the loss.

Colombia is a radically different country now. In any event, Escobar was shot by the driver for a cartel drug lord who lost money betting on Colombia, rather than just some random guy. In any event, most of that and the guerrillas are in the past now

Yep, feels like for once, Deschamps took the governor off, and is letting them roll for the first time really ever, certainly feels that way. The attack has just been fabulous since the first half of the Senegal game.

Zidane is likely the next France coach. I hope he continues this front-footed style. I never thought id see this from Deschamps.

As an englishman I've no idea who I want to win.

I suppose 4 red cards each and the games abandoned would be my favourite result but other than that... no idea.

Spain is "death by a thousand cuts", utterly mindnumbingly boring and France.... we'll, like any honest person I wouldn't want to face them because they've been the best team. That's just a fair assumption.

We're due a win against one of those 2 though.

Im a naturalized U.S. citizen from Brazil, I think the only hope either team would have against this French side is to play a low block and the occasional counterattack. We ain't high pressing these guys, their speedster would love a high-line

If Spain has the ball..........................then France can't hurt them.

So expect them to try to do what they did against other opponents in this tournament.

The difference, of course, is that Mbappe or Olise or Dembele just need that one early chance. They're deadly.
Then the game has to open up...................................

[We're left with teams that can do that. Just have that one guy who just needs that one half-chance. Haaland, Kane, Messi, etc.]

I really don’t think Deschamps deserves all that much credit. He didn’t even start Olise centrally in Game 1 – like Scaloni last time around he got it wrong to start.

This is just Olise, I think.

It also highlights how unforgiving this tournament is. I saw that France is something like 17 W and 1 D when Mbappe starts at the World Cup.

The “draw” was the shoot out loss in the Final. If they somehow don’t win this WC, maybe in similar fashion … you’d really have to question the Deschamps era.
