Ref generously extended over 7 minutes of stoppage time and he takes all the time in the world to take that corner. Long live Micheal Bradley!

 

CIV get CAF their first win.

 

NED/JAP and BRA/MOR were also very good. I might go with the Japan/Dutch game. South Korea/Czechia, Canada/BiH, and Scotland/Haiti were also quite good.

USA/Paraguay was very enjoyable for me, IDK how neutrals found it. Qatar's goal at the end made that game interesting. Aussies over Türkiye was a nice (mild) upset. Even Germany/Curacao was very intersting for 38 minutes anyway.

Mexico/South Africa was a snoozer.

 

Ill tell you what..........Germany is going to have their work cut out for both of those teams. CIV and Ecuador could both get a result against them.

I feel like I should go to any game that doesn’t involve a Concacaf team and chant “Concacaf! Concacaf!” any time someone makes a mistake. If the game involved an African team - “You ain’t nothing without the Conca”. A South American team - “Cacaf rules! Mebol drools.” I’ll have to spend the rest of the evening composing more extraordinarily pithy insults for the other confederations.

 

Japan, Netherlands was not entertaining in the first half, IMO.
