Is like watching your middle school girlfriend flourish as a woman and going out with the football QB in HS.

Well, a bit more like that girl who said she'd think about it and then politely turned you down in middle school, but yes :D

It’s a travesty that a 3rd place team in a tough group isn’t gonna go through because they didn’t have a patsy like Curucao (name a dozen plus other countries) in their group to rack up GD.

Congratulations Germany, it took you less than 80 minutes to make me sick of Major Tom.

Curacao Coach: when I told you to leave it all out there against Germany and "play like Brazil" this is not what I meant!

There we go! 50 bucks in my pocket!

Germany conceding is still hilarious though, so everyone wins

I disagree with Landon about how this will benefit Curacao's development. They will continue to rely entirely on the Dutch academies and kids who aren't good enough of the Oranje. It is what it is.

Would be great if Curacao could play Germany in baseball, however. ;)

Something about teams with blue, yellow, and stars in their flag against Germany..

Australia is playing Boraball 2.0 - a better version. Gonna be hard to break that low block/bunker. The balls to the goal line and hard cutbacks mixed with early fast balls on the counter will be the start. Then CP, Tillman and Dest goinng 1v2 and 1v3 in the box will lead to a PK or two if they do it consistently.

Or Jedi just bangs one from the top of the key again. That's a good idea too.
