Yeah though there’s quite a few Jamaica could be getting that they haven’t. And not just Mason Greenwood. If they were able to qualify consistently I think they’d be able to.
Morocco making a lot of tired touches. I guess with their high tempo fatigue eventually was gonna set in
Add in that half those guys had not played with each other or with Poch and that it was a friendly. It was meaningless, really.
My totally non-homer power rankings top 5 so far: 1) US 2) Morocco 3) Brazil 4) South Korea 5) Mexico But obviously a lot of the big boys have yet to play.
Why would you even want that "title"? Nobody of value respects it, and everything about trying to claim it makes you looks ridiculous.
I love how the kid #6 from Morocco, Ayyoub Bouaddi (18 y.o.) plays. To me, is the modern DM, he can defend and also link up on the attack.
Did not think I would watch a Morocco-Brazil match where the former seemed like the possession team more of the time and the latter seemed like the counterattacking team. I miss fun, exciting Brazil.
Disagree, felt the opposite. Both of those teams stroll through the group though. Scotland will need a hell of a lucky bounce or two to have a shot at either of them
Official FIFA media account on Twitter: “During the Qatar vs. Switzerland match in the San Francisco Bay Area, a brief technical outage prevented the onside animation graphic from being generated ahead of the penalty awarded to Switzerland in the 14th minute. The issue was quickly resolved. The workflow of the VAR was not affected by this issue and followed the normal procedure in checking the on-field decision. The lines used by the VAR to check the position of the relevant players did not show the attacking player to be in an offside position in either of the two situations immediately before the penalty decision.” [During the Qatar vs. Switzerland match in the San Francisco Bay Area, a brief technical outage prevented the onside animation graphic from being generated ahead of the penalty awarded to Switzerland in the 14th minute. It's truly amazing that they had a decade of Bailey, Blake, Antonio, Gray, Pinnock and most of the rest of the squad at any given time made up of MLS and Championship guys, and they never qualified or really came anywhere close, out of fxcking CONCACAF
