Let's see what the other outlets (Nordecke website, ticket exchange, BigSoccer, Ticketmaster, resale sites) offer first. For those with patience and willing to put in some work, good things may await.
IMO, there's two groups of people who don't opt out: People who need their exact season seats or people who are concerned they might get shut out of tickets. I've always opted out. If I can't find one for less than face, I'll call my account manager a day or two before the game. (There's at least one Nordecke benefit for those asking.) What's the O/U on attendance, considering we all know the historical levels of promotion for USOC games?
