They will also now sell to STM the perks that they include in single game packages/deals like the nutcracker. Sadly, it is too late for them to do this with the Crew Nutcracker.
But also who cares if it is verified? Theyre clearly printing them differently for every STM based on what year they have in their system, so just let the STM specify and print what they want. I'll never understand the Crew FO's strict standard for stuff like this. Isn't the goal supposed to be to make STM's happy and want to renew in the future? If any STM is annoyed that they can't put 2006 (as an example) because they have only been purchasing since 2022 outside of a group or for whatever reason, just let them put 2006.
It's likely so they can standardize the processing of the orders. Match up sizing to a printed list from Ticketmaster of name and year established in system as a STH. Your callout is spot on. Also, with the pricing of buying ticket deal gifts. If all these things stand out in the budget ... raise beers by 50 cents in 2026 to (more than) offset cost. The Crew should come across as wanting to do these things... and not as a obligation with strings attached.
It took them only 20+ years to do so. Yay on them for finally figuring this out. How many of us remember the "Pepsi Four-Packs" where it'd be something like four tickets, four Pepsis, four popcorns and one Random_Item for something like $96+fees? That was a frequent source of complaints by STMs.
What email? Also - someone please remind me - how much is a Nordecke ticket per game as a season ticket member?
Compare the Nordecke to the south stands. $729 to $900 or $1080 for the upper or $1062 or $1242. The cost of one Nordecke ticket per game is, as you said, $40.50. If my math is right, comparing the per-game cost of a Nordecke ticket to a south stands ticket results in a range from $10 to $28.50. Is it just me or does that seem a bit extreme for the same view? Other than an assigned seat and the lack of tifo blocking the view, what are they paying extra for? The $28.50 difference is the first row of the south stands too. I'm not saying it should be the same price, but a difference of up to $28.50 game when a Nordecke ticket is $40.50 seems a bit excessive. What I'll be interested to see is for the 2027 "mini-season" and how those will be. Will they be automatically included with the 2027-28 season (season ticket prices reflect Feb 27 to the 2028 playoffs) and then prices reduce for the 2028-29 season? Will it be sold as a separate season with tickets being something like half the price they'd normally be? Time will tell.
The seat is the value. A lot of people either aren't physically able to stand the whole game or don't want to have to stand. For the Cotton Bowl next week, OSU got an allotment of both regular tickets and SRO tickets in endzone party decks. The regular seats started at $230 for corner endzone nosebleeds. SRO on the 200 level is $115. From what I've heard, a lot of people who requested seats and were offered SRO instead had the ticket office just cancel their order. As far as next year, they will absolutely sell 18-month memberships. The more opportunities you give a customer to opt more, the more they will when the product sucks. Which the Crew will if they want to do this rebuild correctly and can't get Bez to come home. 18-month plans will also allow them to obfuscate the price increases they'll continue to do since a lot of people won't do the math and will just see they have over a year to pay in installments.
I apologize it if I am late to the game.. but the Nordecke is able to sell individual tickets at a lower cost than what it costs a season ticket holder? Again not considering dynamic pricing and such.
yeah but at 18 month memberships, by the time you are moving on to the next year, you are overlapping payments.
https://www.instagram.com/p/DS29ZBqjyZQ/?img_index=17&igsh=bnF5cXcycmlneWdm The Crew FO asks who you want to see repping the team in 2026. Hopefully they get more people connected to the team than they did in 2025 with the random celebrities. OSU football had their victory bell ringer (blatantly stolen, but whatever) and they were all former coaches or players, IIRC. Of course it's a lot easier when you only need seven, but still. The bar could definitely be raised in 2026.
I just realized today that our season tickets are loaded in our accounts. Yes, I am behind as per usual when it comes to Crew.
I should be used to it by now, but the fact that the season starts a month from now feels completely f***ing wrong.
We've both been around enough to see the season start in late March and MLS Cup be in mid-September. Don't get me started on the "boys of summer". Pitchers and catchers report in a few weeks.
