Do they think this is enticing? I'm genuinely curious. Congrats, you're letting us fill up water that should already be allowed when its hot. None of this moves the needle even a tiny bit imo.
I like the $5 menu.... If they do the lunch like the Jackets did last season, that should be fun. We'll give it a go, until we see what the schedule actually is like. Too many cold weather games and we will reconsider after the first new season. I'm assuming I'm in the Legacy Tier, but we'll see how they count those who temporarily dropped tickets during the Save the Crew campaign.
Fair way of looking at it. I was hoping they were going to announce a ticket cost decrease like chicago and the ability to move games since we don't sell out anymore. The $5 means nothing to me beacuse it wont include Ben's Prezzies
I think you and KG are both expressing my thoughts. There are steps in the right direction ... but, also ... that's it? Sending this out in June was a good move. With World Cup fever and USMNT on a high ATM. But, if the new invoicing has price jumps that outpace cost of living increases ... it will negate what they are trying to do here.
On one hand, it's far too early to commit to spring 2028. On the other, some of these are fairly large benefits. We could hypothetically stay in our car until 10 minutes before kickoff and be guaranteed to collect the giveaway item. The return of Autograph Alley is a big one in a sense. Hopefully it means the "meet the team" event isn't as crazy since an increase in supply *might* mean lower demand. It also should mean that egress from games won't be as bad, since there's something to do after games. Watch Crew 2 games still get Crew 2 attendance. I think we all noticed how many people left before the Crew 2 portion of the doubleheader like they thought there was just one game.
This is so bad. I swear they have tried everything they possibly could to turn me apathetic about my season tickets. IT WONT WORK COWARDS
I am going to highlight ... again ... the regional brand gaslighting that continues. No "Columbus" on a STH loyalty logo. Not a chance in hell that is an accidental miss.
I don't really have an issue with regional branding, Ohio is black & gold after all. Is it gaslighting, maybe. Is it an attempt to make the business relevant to more than one MSA? Also yes. Mark McCullers would never, amirite?
"The C96" sounds like either a restaurant at a resort in the style of Disney's Club 33 or some sort of secret Stonecutters-style organization. Is it time for the tri-state area to enter the chat again, sarcastically or otherwise?
I've been an off and on STM since 2004 with definitely over 9 cumulative years. Does anyone know if the "Legacy" requires the 9+ to be consecutive? Do I need to stop ghosting my ticket rep and answer his calls?
To each their own opinion. And I only started caring about the business side of the Crew when Queso Boy got involved. When HSG announces that "business metrics" demand a few home games each year be moved to the Brook Park dome ... please spare us any justifications. They have been planning for a regional team for years now. This logo is another sign post. I guess I am not soccer hipster enough ... I don't want a regional team. And I won't be attending a Columbus ("The") Crew home game in Cleveland.
Is it just water though? The way I see it, it's free soft drinks all season long. I'd rather have it be a QR code to be scanned at the stands for a cup. They're probably counting on those water bottles being forgotten on game day or lost.
I would assume it's cumulative. The part that caught my eye? I believe next year is when I would have been eligible for the original Legacy Club, being consecutive since 2012.
I would have assumed consecutive, but they do have asterisks regarding the renewal gift starting the second year for the 3-9 as well *shrug*
I think the thought is that the water is in the same machines as the soda and nobody is verifying which you get.
The $5 menu mentions soda bottles. Very possible they just pull out the soda dispensers... since they would be abused with the water cups .. sell bottles only .... and install these. The "bottles saved" tracker readout on some of these would be well received by attendees.
