I moved out the city to like 10 years ago so it's gotta be like 12 years since my last RBNY game.

You wouldn’t even recognize the neighborhoods around the stadium. There’s been some serious urban development there.

I did actually tour the apartments when they were first completed and saw all of the restaurants that were opening on street level and walked along the water at the park that was built.

My cousin lived in one of those apartments for a while. Then prices went up so she moved somewhere else on the light rail.

It'd be so cool to live in a stadium neighborhood. Unless of course you have no interested in the sport or the team. :p Then you'd probably just get annoyed at traffic & road closures.

Both times I've seen us live this year we looked completely lost (Montreal and Dallas), so I'm at best saying we are inconsistent. Did go to Keepers in the fancy apartment building, and while nothing too amazing, having a pregame dining option right across from the stadium with a kids menu was nice.

I see some potential, but we have a lot of glaring issues and when things turn against us the lack of real leadership is very clear.

The new stadium concessions annoy me because the Bodega no longer sells apple juice for little ones... They do have a local craft beer though now so no more just getting Kona or Stella.

Yeah the beer selection absolutely sucks for a person like me who likes red ales, stouts, etc. But TBF, with the rise of IPA's that's kind of true of many establishments in the USA these days. :p

The concessions setup overall is underwhelming. And if they ever fill that place up again, I sure hope they have some ability to scale up to meet demand. Otherwise it'll be a shit show I suspect.

    I haven't been to any other MLS SSS's but I wonder if/how they're better.
