At some point I’d like to see some silver on a jersey as a quiet nod to the old logo and the one year of silver Fire lettering.
Really? The Fire have a release party next weekend, seems like a league release would be a spoiler. Although with preseason games it makes sense to do it sooner, just seems odd.
Maybe what I read was incorrect. I'd be surprised if there isn't an actual photo leak before next weekend though.
Yes! We get some sort of throwback trefoil third jersey, but I don’t believe they get released immediately. My recollection is that those come out mid season.

That picture is at Bridgeview, no? Interesting that they picked some generic "new guy" for the picture.
It almost makes the sponsor blue look out of place, but overall I dig it. A case where the preview was pretty accurate but the final product still looks a lot better.
Good question. At some point, you think the league and Adidas would look to ship new home/away shirts every year, like most other leagues do, I wonder if the first full season under the new schedule is when that happens.
That makes sense for clubs that move a lot of jersey's. I have never seen the numbers of how many jersey's MLS clubs sell.

One of the Fire podcasts I listen to (might've been MIR97) speculated that the third jersey would pay homage to the '98 away jersey.
