St Louis does not seem to understand that corner kicks can go past the far post. 2 goals off of corners for the sounders. 2-0 Sounders
An early night for this kid! St. Louis can rally from a one-goal deficit, but two goals? That's asking for the moon!
Response to our pool reporter question on why Inter Miami’s Yannick Bright was given a red card in the 87th minute: “Yannick Bright was given a red card for offensive, insulting, abusive language. He said, ‘b*tch *ss n*gga’ to his opponent.”— Burgundy Wave (@Burgundywave) April 19, 2026
MLS, this is what everyone is tired of. The fop two articles on the home page are both about the Colorado - Miami match. Or should I say they are both about Miami and manage at least work in one mention of the team they were playing. Never mind the close score line or the fact that the home team was an original team celebrating their 30th anniversary.
It was nice to see Eduard Lowen back in action for St. Louis. Hope he and his kids are doing OK. Great way to come back and stop Seattle's shutout attempt; the team's lone bright spot on a fruitless trip to the PNW.
It's disgusting how cheaply these goals are conceded. Colorado spots Miami their first goal, and loses the game by a single goal. San Diego may have well just shot it into their own goal as give it to Luna 5 yards out. With the season that team is having thus far, they might want to limit the number of times they give the ball away inside their six yard box.
This week's two 3-3 draws seems like a somewhat scarce occurrence. The 3-3 draws happen periodically and were the second and third 3-3 draws so far this season. This made me curious about the highest scoring draw match. According to the 2026 MLS Fact and Record Booj, the record is NY Metrostars 5-5 San Jose Earthquakes on May 8, 2004.
We're coming up on a very busy schedule for many teams. We have 11 MLS matches this coming Wednesday, a full slate of 15 next weekend, 8 USOC round of 16 matches (several involving two MLS teams) the following midweek, and another full slate of league matches that weekend.
