OK, Philadelphia and DC. Every other match has a score. One of you needs to score. If you end up in a nil-nil, you have to buy rounds for the rest of us. Hey, I don't make the rules. We're either going to have the no nil-nil streak end at 35 or extend to 43. It's all on Philadelphia and DC.
The last two seasons, I thought it was Luca Orellano who really opened up the field for the FCC attack, and him being gone to LigaMx emphasizes the good he did here.
Luna presses RSL into the lead, forcing a bad turnover. And another goal two minutes later and Salt Lake is rolling over SD early (Luna with the assist).
Bad last 15 minutes for the Fire. It took an Evander PK and then Mr. Own Goal for Cincinnati to get back into it.
Noticed the banner behind the Seattle goal that says: SAVE THE CAPS Nice gesture by the fans based on the murmurs coming out of BC about the team's future in Vancouver.
Wow. RSL almost had San Diego buried inside of 13 minutes. Ferree did a good enough job of getting in the way. And then a quick counter for SD gets them back into it. Talk about a big swing.
Bizarre goal kick: defender took the kick and played it square across the six to the GK, and Luna kind of moved in between them. The way SD approached it, it looked like something they practiced or planned. But why?
Seattle heaps more woe on St. Louis, Misery. Roldan in the 22nd. Well, STL rallied from 1-nil deficits in its last 2 matches. We'll see if they can hit the trifecta.
