PBP: 2026 MLS Season Week 3 PBP Thread March 7 - 8 {R}

East v. West this week ends up as a 2-2 split, with all four matches on Eastern turf. There are already six more clean sheets in five matches, including another nil-nil. Owen Goal made an appearance. A couple goal scorers collected red cards. And at least three teams are hunting for their first point of the season.

 

I had changed away from Colorado-LAG and missed how Pec got his red. But it sets up a long final 30 for the Galaxy to hold on to the point.

Given how bad Montreal looked last week, I'm not willing to give them a win yet. There's definite pneu crevé potential with them.

 

Perhaps the Red Bull strategy of playing with 0 natural CBs isn't wise.
