Interesting to see how (or if) Dallas and San Jose can top the ending in San Diego. The Galaxy only put 2 shots on goal in Seattle tonight, but they both went in! What's up with the pitch at Lumen Field? Stressed, brown streaks in several places. The fields in Houston and Sandy looked so much better.
DC United's GTG at 90', Houston's GWG at 90+6', San Diego's go-ahead goal at 90+6', Cincinnati's GTG at 90+8' and late goals by Atlanta and SKC. Wowzers.
Sooooo..... does anyone know what happened to the Dynamo player who was carted off and if they are okay? First time I've seen an ambulance on the pitch. Wow. #vwfc pic.twitter.com/FCx0eUlA5s— Ken 🗽🇨🇦 🇭🇰 🇹🇼 🇺🇦🌻 🇬🇪 🇲🇩 🇮🇷 (@kendroiddddd) May 17, 2026
What was that celebration supposed to be? Also, why do that there? I wouldn't touch a beer can that has anything in stoppage...
Sarver is the new late game go-to guy. That's two in eight days. And a great beer-drenched celebration as the fans throw can after can at him/
I don't know what happened, but it occured in the first half. There were 14 minutes of stoppage time added before halftime. The MLS 10-minute match capsule didn't have anything about the injury.
22nd minute. Vancouver took a corner. There was head contact with Houston's Samassékou and Blackmon. Samassékou went down hard and wasn't moving while face down. Elfath saw it and stopped play immediately. He had a neck brace on when put in the ambulance.
Yes, which is why he and Bretos get many (most?) RMC matches for Apple. Which pisses off Rapids fans no end. (Back in the pre-Apple days they once did a RMC match in Utah where they used the same audio for both broadcasts and it was Dunseth and Balboa IIRC)
This was a great idea and worked well in my opinion. Then again, I really liked how Balboa developed as a broadcaster. He and Fleming are missed .
Diadie Samassekou was removed from tonight’s game via ambulance. He was alert and will be taken to a local hospital. We will update as we know more.— Houston Dynamo FC (@HoustonDynamo) May 17, 2026 Update: Diadié has been released from the hospital and is home. https://t.co/Y65ogKaK7G— Houston Dynamo FC (@HoustonDynamo) May 17, 2026 Diadie Samassekou was removed from tonight’s game via ambulance.
