I liked the Northern Lights black jersey better. As a realist, this looks good. I’ve wondered why Orlando hasn’t gone with a yellow jersey before now. As a Crew fan, BOOOOOOO!

Sounders official release. https://www.soundersfc.com/evergreen-state-kit/ Holy crap that image is big. haha
So it looks to me like the Rapids shirt is black. And this our primary. So mostly we binned about 20 years of tradition. That sucks. Rapids home kit shoulds always be burgundy, in my opinion.
The Houston Dynamo officially release the Mission Control alternate jersey. The front has a map of Houston with bayous, streets, and rail lines. There is even a lightning bolt marker for the stadium.
I like that the Rapids decided to do something different for their 30th anniversary, honoring all the colors they've used in their history (gold, green, royal blue, burgundy, light blue stripes on the collar and cuffs) on a jersey that is black (the only dark color that would work with the aforementioned ones).
Adidas and MLS to Release No New 2027-28 Kits When First Fall/Spring Season Begins footyheadlines.com/2026/02/mls-2027-28-kitsa.html?Xwunp=sIBPY
That kind of makes sense. I thought maybe there would be no new kits for the sprint season and then get the normal replacements for the winter season but this just the inverse of that.
So that means 28-29 gets new home/away for each club? At some point you’d think we’ll end up with a full refresh every year like most “big” leagues do globally, not sure if that makes sense for every club sales-wise though.
I assume this means next spring we'll get whatever normal rotation we would get before the sprint season, and then the teams will use the same two kits for the sprint season and the 27-28 season, then rotate out the ones they got this year for 28-29. They're essentially going to get 2.5 years instead of 2 years out of the kits announced this week and the ones announced at this time next year.
In my opinion, Union II continue the recent trend of NEXT PRO sides having kits that are equal to or even superior to their senior team counterparts.Class kit.#doop #MLS #MLSNEXTPRO 📷: Philadelphia Union II pic.twitter.com/wkmmRQ5X28— José Roberto Nuñez (@JoserNunez91) February 25, 2026
