Rumor: 2026 MLS In-Season Roster Moves, Signings, Speculation, & Rumors

St. Louis CITY SC loaned out defender Josh Yaro to AC Boise for the remainder of the 2026 season. His contract expires at the end of this season, though there is a club option year (which will not be exercised). Effectively this frees a U22 slot for CITY. Josh was one of the remaining original CITY players.

 

Derby County reach agreement with Vancouver Whitecaps to sign Sebestian Berhalter. Price for 25yo midfielder £4.5M fixed. Personal terms in place on 3+1yr deal. Medical to be completed after World Cup.

He will now become USMNT worthy and his US performances after the WC will not be looked at with a magnifying glass anymore.

For reference the general feeling is that Herrington is worth at least $10M, and that's before the rumored Barcelona interest. No idea what the Roar were thinking taking $560K.
