Could have been a yellow for the foul on Rossi. Shockingly, an actual dangerous Crew free kick following the foul.

 

Evidence suggests they never got on the plane because I haven't seen us show up to play.

 

Crew finally looking halfway competent just as the half is about to end.

 

I will never understand the Gomes signing. He’s clean on the ball, sure, but a team supposedly trying to build a defensive foundation with a new system signs an old center mid who can’t move at all?

He stinks, and as long as he’s out there the opposing team is going to feast.

 

Story of this game is the same as every other loss this year: once the opposition realizes we suck, they just relentlessly attack until we give up a couple goals.

Credit to NYCFC's coaching staff, they've clearly been watching tape on us and told their players we sucked before the game, ao the relentless attacking started from minute one instead of the usual minute 60. Good for them.

We suck. The defense (all of them) have been apocalyptically bad today. Chambost's terrible awareness led to the first goal. Gomes was a bad signing from the start, has done nothing to change my mind. Picard is shit unless he's playing against a third division team.

I think Rydstrom is watching Seinfeld re-runs on that iPad of his on the bench. Can't say I blame him if he is.

 

In addition to all the other bad stuff about this performance Savarese is one of the worst color commentators I’ve ever heard.

 

I mean, at least this is the last time we will have to play in this stadium most likely, pending any potential playoffs etc.

These subs seemed preplanned.

 

This team has had some real stinkers this year, but this performance takes the cake. Unbelievably pathetic.

 

This was the team and field where relationism should be firing on all cylinders. It is our worst.

NYCFC has been one of the worst defensive teams this year. To get only 2 half chances is so bad

 

Respectfully, this is beyond adopting any system.

This roster sucks ... and it is a country club, where there is no urgency to win and no one pushing the starters for playing time.

Only Rossi is a difference maker. And he needs a forward running mate to unlock his best game.


There are several guys still here that were a part of trophies in 2023 and 2024.

Any pride from being a champion sure has not been coming out this year.
