Horned helmets for the win!! Clearly they worked, so that must mean *something*. Don't rock the boat.

All I have to say is that if you are going sailing to a distant shore to do battle you should come fully armed and armored. You would think the Norwegians would remember what happened to the huge Norwegian Viking host that invaded England in 1066, led by the great Viking King Harald Hardaada, (who may have been taller than Erling Haaland)! Won one small easy battle near York, only to be annihilated at the Battle of Stamford Bridge when the Anglo Saxon King Harold Godwinson surprised them on a hot day when they left their armor back at their ships. History may have been different if the Vikings had taken the day. Harold wouldn’t have hurriedly slogged his army all the way back down to Hastings to be beaten by William the Conqueror. And no, Chelsea’s stadium was not named after the great Anglo Saxon victory!
So, those posing pretty boys better gear up properly if they want to win. No horned helmets!

This is kind of old news isn’t it? He’s had the hairpiece for a while. It just looks kind it keeps getting more and more voluminous. Pretty soon he’s gonna look like Jason Momoa. If I were him I’d go for a subtler “thinning but there” look.

Never understood the fixation against baldness. Of course, I never understood dying hair neon yellow, either.

Yeah it’s interesting that Landon frames it almost like an illness. You could look at it as an opportunity. No more need for haircuts or otherwise wasting time on hair. And you can lean into hats. :)

He looks like a dork. He should either let it, or keep it really short.

I still have a lot of hair, so maybe I don’t get it. I thinned out a bit, and my thinning stopped. So maybe I need to be more sympathetic. We’ve gotten used to him being bald. He should get used to it too. F- him!

Several of my pals are either bald or losing their hair. (We’re all older than @Goodsport.) My pals look fine, their wives don’t care, it’s chill.

Jamiro played well even if mostly what he was doing was defending. But he was doing some ball winning. Maybe a bit of a contrarian view because people didn't think much of Monteiro when he was here, but I think our dip in form from 2023 to 2024 had a lot to do with losing Monteiro. He wasn't much going forward but he was a ball winner and he helped us hold possession.

    Jamiro played well.

Now, CV need to beat someone in their group. They won’t be up against such a ferocious attack, so I hope to see more counters from them.

I bet with my head, but I root with my heart!

    Go Cap Verde!!
