The US plays twice at SoFi; Turkiye and Paraguay. I'd be really interested in a Paraguay ticket if you're not planning on using it.
Hey, Messi is doing potato chip commercials, and he's still playing! I'm not sure any kind of crass commercialism is beneath these guys.
Unfortunately, no. I agree -- that would be a better game, but for my own schedule, it would have been a disaster.

So, are we going to try to drink beer that matches the nations playing? I can find beer from USA, Mexico, and Canada, but Switze? Czechia? Congo? The going could get tough. I need to spend some quality time at my local beer purveyors. I could go with Spanish or Portuguese wine. German beer will be easy to find. But anything from Panama, Hatti, or Curaçao is going to be tough. Dang! Go Teams!! Go Humans!!
Cool! Where did you find that? Also, I’m in the PNW. It’s painfully white bread up here. I need to explore the possibilities. Go Humans!!

so sorry, Tyff. My hubby feels like he was sucked in too. He's not even looking forward to the SoFi game because of all the horror predictions. I am boycotting, so my son is going with him instead of me. Hopefully they come back ok.
Czech beer is everywhere. The Bills bar in Portland (Tinker Tavern) has Czechvar (the real Budweiser) on tap. Garage man cave. (Before renaming as Czechvar).
My FIFA tickets nightmare: I was given tickets to a game for Christmas. But the tickets were in limbo. There was an email from StubHub to log into FIFA with a temporary email address to claim the tickets. It did not work. Another FIFA account with my wife's email address logged me into FIFA but no tickets. She couldn't remember what she did. Got on the support line with StubHub with a very patient person who doesn't speak much English. Three things needed to be aligned before I could even hope to make progresss. I needed the support guy on the line, I needed to get thru the FIFA queue (typically a 1/2 hour wait), and I needed my wife around to give me a passcode. After several attempts to get those 3 things aligned, StubHub sent another "temporary email" to register an account at FIFA. That finally worked, but while I could "claim" the tickets, I still don't have the barcodes. They say they're going to "release" them a day or so before the game. I'm afraid I might have similar problems logging in to get the tickets, and will I get stuck in a queue again? :facepalm
