Imagine Cholo managing Argentina. We'd have similar fate.

So in grand scheme of things Scaloni actually improved his team compare to 2021-2024. We gets a late winner instead of a penalty shootout. Right?

This trend started in CA 24 final.

Can we please please please give some flowers to Scaloni?

I thought his tactics from the beginning were great. His substitutions were impeccable.

It's funny if England managed to hold on and win, their reporters would be saying "They fought like soldiers! They didn't give an inch! They stood tall just like they did v Congo, Mexico in altitude and in ET v Norway! This team has something special about them! And I'll tell you what, that second star is coming!"

I read that after England scored, for the next 30+ minutes they only had 12% of posession. Goes to show why that they're a mental midget.

Another note , a right wing Messi solved ADM retirement problem. Everytime the subs came in and Messi drifted to the right, we started creating chances with ease.

We had 15 shots (5 on target), England only had 5 shots. We hit the post twice & forced their GK to made a good saves. England did almost nothing upfront outside of their goal, and thats thanks to Molina.

How many times we saw this?

2-1 loss to Spain, retreating back after getting an equalizer.

1-1 (3-2) loss to Italy , went into defensive mode despite scoring 5 mins into the game.

2-1 loss to Croatia, scored first and then invited Croatia to attack.

2-1 loss to Argentina, same old story.

I hope they hire Pekerman so they can continue the trend.

Englands “best game” = a loss to Argentina where they had one shot on goal

its hilarious how they can't accept it.
literally for 50 years they have not knocked out a top team.
beating Mexico is their biggest scalp.

it is simple they are good just like the 5th best tennis player in the world is good.
but the 4th and 5th best tennis players don't win grand slams. You have to be top 1-3 in the world to win. In their bad eras they are like 14th best in their top eras they are 4th 5th best.

They are the Andy Murray of football.
