I love the vibes going on here today I dont think ill post tomorrow during the match because of cábala, ill watch the game in a big bar with a big screen, same bar ive watched the 2022 semifinal, with the same people. My kid and my (now ex) husband Cabalas ON



Wanted to say something, im just tired of the same old thing from european teams, international press and basically most of the world (with the obvious antiargentina campaign going on). The DISRISPECT Argentina gets is ASTONISHING, this team is a LEGENDARY superteam by every possible standard, have won EVERYTHING since 2021, COPA AMERICA, FINALISSIMA, WORLD CUP, COPA AMERICA. That alone is an incredible legendary run that makes it one of the most winning teams ever and deserves praise from everyone in the world that loves fútbol. Add to that, we won the last 2 conmebol qualys with ease, hardly ever lost a game in 6 years, and we are ALREADY IN ANOTHER WC SEMIFINAL winning 6 straight games

And on top of that, we have the GOAT of fútbol, and what he has done...there are no words to describe it


And what we get instead of the endless praise we deserve?? Rigged accussations, a hate campaign, haters trying to underscore our achievements. Meanwhile, the remaining teams will die just to achieve 10% of what we achieved in fútbol!! None of those nations are even touching Argentinas greatness!!! Whatever happens

Who the ******** are England??? Just one international trophy and hadnt come CLOSE to win cup in 60 years??? Who in gods name are those arrogant Spaniards Who didnt exist in fútbol until 2010 and would die to have even 10% of our achievements??? Who the ******** everyone thinks they are??

The pundits on Talksport (think Fox News but for football) have certainly been told to ramp up the disrespect for Argentina. So virtually everyone of the ragebait merchants talks about England destroying / battering / smashing / hammering Argentina, they have not talked like that before any other game, not even before Panama. But who gives a f*ck. England has the imperial arrogance but zero achievement, where as Argentina are aiming to go to their 7th final. My guess is Nico for one of RDP/Enzo

Montiel for Molina

Should be Simeone ahead of either Montiel or Molina. And have Palacios instead of RDP. Keep 442 system that Scaloni likes. Its very simple but would change so much for us.

 

We needs legs and speed in the team, those changes would give us that, personally I would have liked to have seen more changes, a 5-3-2 formation but I know that was never, ever going to happen.

 

I think like most semifinals, it would be 50:50 affair on paper. Even the 2014 semi, Germany vs Brazil result was completely unexpected.

However , I dont have a daunting feeling like when I watched all previous editions. Winning the 2022 plus 3 additional trophies definetely took away that colossal pressure. Every KO stage games in previous editions always gave me this "now or never" feeling. I fckin hate that.

Another reason is because we've made it this far , so it wont be considered as a disasterous campaign. We cant take our recent success for granted. Sometimes we forgot that from 1994-2010 & 2018 , QF has been our ceiling.

Also, we almost go home early in past 3 matches. In all those matches we're really on the very edge.

According to the English media it is 99.9% in favour of England.

 

I'd prefer Giu & Palacios to starts replacing Molina & RDP and then Lautaro , Barco , Nico G & Gio comes in between 60-70th minute.

 

Considering Enzo and Mac both play in EPL, I would be surprised if one is dropped unless they are fatigued. Or Maybe Scaloni is just planning to sub one for the other. Mac sits deeper in Liverpool's midfield than Enzo does in Chelsea.

My midfield 4 would be: Simeone - Paredes - Mac - Nico G.

Both of our CBs play in EPL

I worry for Tagliafico and Molina. Montiel had a short stint in EPL, I wonder if Scaloni will start him.

 

It's confirmed just now that Molina is the starter.

For this game, I do not prefer the 442 (442 should never be played imo). Back 3 would be better imo.

 

I really want to see the Finalissima. More interesting than a rematch where nobody cares, lol.

Hopefully we play confident and step up to the first big opponent, while they crumble under the pressure.

I thought honestly today that Molina was going to get benched.. What a bummer. Gordon is going to run behind him constantly... Wonder what Scaloni is thinking... Maybe put Nico there on the right? He has played there before and is actually more of a "goal threat" as he can cut inside and shoot.

They have to be on it. As we saw last night France were not on it.

The first goal is vital as we saw last night and in many other semi-finals. It changes mindsets, morale and momentum. We had it against Croatia with the early penalty that settled nerves.

Everyone has to be on tip top form. England do have dangerous players and physicality and pace.

They have to match it and Scaloni ideally needed a 3-5-2 I think to cope with the pace and cover the fullback areas.

He has to make the right tactical and right substitutions tonight. It's vital. We can get at their defence so keeping the ball well and not making stupid mistakes like messing around at the back under pressure which England will try and press high I think.

 

I really would have preferred a 3-5-2. Maybe he'll change it at some point. I don't know.

A back three Senesi not Otamendi can cover the WBs as secondary sweepers and also allow when on the attack an extra midfielder. Senesi would have provided aerial dominance. Paredes needs to keep an eye on Bellingbum and his runs from deep into the box which is what he likes to do. Keeping the ball and working it into the attacking third is vital. We will need to get Julian and Messi into the positions they can cause most damage. I'd let them have free roles.

Leo will have to do some pressing tonight. It's that sort of game. Leave it all out there.

 

They have to be on it from minute 1 because you can 100% guarantee Tuchel will have been drilling home to his players that they need to press high up the pitch because Argentina will be to slow to deal with it.
