You have to laugh at the irony of Real Madrid supporters complaining about refereeing conspiracies.

Nobody on earth cant convince me that Paz Simeone Barco are not good enough to play single minute in KO. Fcking RDP and Molina playing is criminal

    Amen! KING-worshiping inbreeds, at that!

Someone should post some slo-mo clips of Sir Harry being "fouled" like Embolo was...

It's being rumored that we will play in our away kits while England play in their whites... Granted, we beat them in 86 and in 98 in our away kits and lost in the group stages in 02 but wouldn't the world champs get dibs on which kit we wear?

Sometime during and going towards the end of the second half the TV cameras panned into the dugout. Aimar and Scaloni were conversing and Aimar look bemused. I wouldn't blame him.

I don't think it works that way. Basically FIFA decides what works best on TV to contrast and the teams don't get any say. I assume there's a bit of rotation logic too to keep kit manufacturers happy.

I honestly feel for Paredes. The highest IQ player in existence. The most underrated and underappreciated. Master of the dying art of actual passing not modern pass and move. But then having to play with absolute cones in midfield

I watched the last 2 games with the TV turned off. It works.

I hear about everything going on with my neighbours screams anyway, everyone going crazy here in Buenos Aires, last night people were in the streets two blocks from here (i could hear all the bombos and the screams and the songs) singing that new "soy hincha de la seleccion la aliento con el corazon ganamos la tercera con Lionel queremos ser campeones otras vez" NT song until 4 am at least (cause then i fall asleep) it was BONKERS:ROFLMAO:

Too bad im going to the fan fest giant screen on parque centenario on wednesday and wont be able to do my turned off tv cabala, sorry, but im tired of watching the games after they finish and only jumping via screams. I will go down or up with this ship and the multitude. Its England after all. Its gonna be insane.

Guys, I don’t know about you, but I’m really not optimistic at all. I just don’t see how we can beat England.Their midfield is stacked with quality — Rice, Bellingham, Anderson, and they also have some very talented players who haven’t been at their best this tournament but can be absolute beasts on their day, like O’Riley or Saka — and they’ve got Kane up front too. Sure, their defence isn’t the strongest, especially their full-backs, but that doesn’t help us much when we basically have no proper wingers and very little quality in wide areas.Messi is 39 years old now. We desperately need someone to step up and take the wheel of this team. It’s honestly incredible what Leo is still doing at his age — he remains by far our best and most important player. At the same time, our defence doesn’t give me much confidence after what we’ve seen in the last three games. I’m genuinely not optimistic and I can’t see a clear path to victory. I’d love for someone to explain — both tactically and mentally — how you think we can actually win this match. I can’t even remember the last time I felt this way about Argentina's match...

Have some faith. English players are massively overrated as always

I am more worried about our tired players. The problem is Scaloni will not make changes. He probably thinks that Enzo and Mac are familiar with them so they have to start. But they are spent.

3-5-2 with the likes of Barco Paz Senesi and Simeone starting. Four fresh legs

Will Scaloni change. He's a fool and I doubt he will. He's making opposition team analysts jobs so simple.

Always silly when people always compare teams based on big names. France only beat Paraguay narrowly from penalty goal and England barely beat Mexico 3-2.

England also won narrowly againts Congo & Norway and conceided goals in every KO stage matches, yet people only downplay Argentina defense.

Lol JM Lopez just said that he was actually about to come in for Julian, but Paredes cramped his leg right at that moment so he replaced him instead

    Paredes confirmed it too

"Sí, lo hablé con Julián. Ese era el cambio. Agradezco haberme acalambrado", contó el volante entre risas

Man, Scaloni keeps on having all the luck in the world. Somehow all the stars always automatically align to save him, it’s incredible

There was also a video of Paredes and Scaloni discussing positioning during the second half hydration break. It was interesting to see.

    https://youtube.com/shorts/81X1qWzOPEk?si=dx9WcghDMune0MKl

I was about to come on and mention Scaloni reaching another semi-final is pretty remarkable. No other major experience but getting here twice. Ancelotti who some consider the greatest club coach, got bounced by Norway and were lucky to dodge a bullet with Japan.

But anyways, there are times I love the man and others I just want to call him a traffic enforcement officer…

It really is crazy that his love for some of his players clouds his judgment. If he just sits De Paul for the rest of the tournament(As a starter), I’ll take that as a victory.

LMAO. I just saw this picture, I wouldn't be surprised if Pekerman uses this as his avatar...

Would it be this that you are referring to?

I think this is fine, seems like a normal conversation. There should always be debates about tactics and such and not be yes man.

Since the 1950, Scaloni is already within the top 3 best international coaches of all time. Making the Semi-Final of a World Cup should always be celebrated as long as we don't get bounced 7-1 like a certain team. I just wish for this WC, he changed his approach - there are even Argentine journalists in TyC that are questioning of Enzo, MacA and RDP, to which they are very valid constructive criticisms.
