I think every single team showed weaknesses so far, particularly in the back. France's outcome could've been a bit different in luck was on the side of Senegal. People just Ouhh and Ahhh since they have Olise.

The brazucas, who supposedly have the best pairing got pushed by Morocco.

Germany ate a goal from Curacao.

Cabo Verde held the Gallegos and could've snuck a historic win at the end.

I know we have weaknesses but every single side does as well. Myself and others tend to the be critical of our side because we want these things to be sorted out.

Lot of history to that fixture. Might get a bit heated........

Both are thinking "It really does skip a generation, doesn't?"

Think about it. What team has faced La Scaloneta, and this has not been true? I'm thinking of only Ecuador as the exception.

Colombia in the first half of the CA final..

But other than that, you’re right

True that. That's honestly the better example. There might be more, but Scaloni has been neutralizing teams for years now (except for a few windows in games when the concentration lapses a bit).

Saudi Arabia is the obvious one. But that was an anomaly.

They had an expected goal well below .5 (dont quote me on that). That was the definition of luck. Ecuador and Columbia actually dominated large stretches of those matches...

Spot on. Saudi Arabia was a fluke. Argentina was pretty good in that game. Ecuador in the last Copa America is the only side that has outplayed a Scaloni team. They deserved to win. Colombia was ok but we were still better overall.

I want to point out how reassuring Licha was on the ball last match. Such a rare combination of technique and toughness.
This may seem like a small thing, but go back and watch Medina's run on Messi's third goal. Small details like that often go unnoticed, but to pull a couple of defenders' attention even for a split second can make a world of difference.

Molina did something similar on Alvarez second goal against Croatia. He outsprinted everyone and dragged one of Croatian defender to him.

They didnt really outplayed us in 2024, its a 50:50 affair. We have 51% posessions and 8 attempts (2 on targets), they got 9 attempts (2 on targets). Both goalie only made 1 proper save.

Ecuador always disappoints at WC. Seems like a tradition for them.

Can we complain about Gvardiol's clear handball from 2022? I want 4-0 win.
