Since we have several teams already qualified, it may be time to jumpstart this thread with a few results. I'm only posting matches featuring at least one qualified team, but you're free to also discuss friendlies featuring teams that can still qualify.

    Canadian Shield Cup:
    Canada 4–2 Ukraine
    Ivory Coast 0–1 New Zealand

On June 10, Canada face Ivory Coast while New Zealand will face Ukraine.

    Other friendlies:
    Mexico 2–4 Switzerland
    United States 1–2 Turkey

On June 10, Mexico will face Turkey while the United States will face Switzerland.

    Sweden 4 Algeria 3

A crazy match that saw a weakened Sweden jump to a 4-0 lead only to hang on for the victory in the end with Algeria missing many chances. Algeria defence was really poor.

    England 1 Senegal 3

England experimenting and were outplayed and lose their first match to African opposition.

Yeah, Canada wins with 4 points.

In the Yank shield, the US finished dead last. Switzerland finished top with 2 wins and plus 6 goal diff.

    I definitely enjoyed that. :D

After a frustrating UEFA Nations League campaign that saw us relegated, where scoring was a major issue, it was nice to see eight goals against the top two teams in Concacaf (or should Canada be in there?)

I appreciate this was far from a first choice lineup for the US, but after about 10 minutes this game had training match characteristics. @HomietheClown - your thoughts?

Yeah Canada is the best Concacaf team.

    US is 3rd right now.

The team is obviously playing horribly right now.

The make shift lineup and experimenting does not help but there really is no quick fix to the back line issues and the Keeper.

Still have a year to fix the issues though. And we saw how Russia played like garbage in the 2018 cycle and raised their game with a little help from home cooking and FIFA in the WC.

Let's see what happens in 12 months time.

A bit of a shock seeing Senegal beat England that soundly. Tuchel has a lot of work to do

That England lineup was kind of mixed "B"/"A" team though right? Especially the back line and Keeper.
But also Senegal is a good team.

    True.
They did not look so hot in the last Euro either but sleepwalked their way to the Final though so it is tough to gauge them.

Yeah England was mixing it up a bit, but they are one of the few teams that can put out 3 or 4 good first 11s.

Senegal were without Mane, Pape Sarr, and Assane Diao.

Although I'm not sure Mane should be a starter for Senegal anymore.

    Switzerland - 6 pts, +6 GD
    Turkey - 3 pts, 0 GD
    Mexico - 3 pts, -1 GD
    USA - 0 pts, -5 GD

That's four losses on the trot for the USMNT (Panama and Canada in the CNL, and Turkey and Switzerland this month).

It has to be mentioned that neither Japan nor South Korea are playing with European players, relying in local talent. However, I wouldn't be surprised if a few of those guys end up in the WC final squads, specially if they secure a move abroad.
