Well, there are now rumors that Scaloni wanted us to play one way, and Messi another way. Maybe that’s what Messi’s pregame speech was about? Scaloni was even asked about it when he got to his hometown, and he denied it. So it probably is all rumors. We will probably see all sorts of rumors.
I 100% believe something happened in our locker room before the WC final. Something crazy. Conspiracy theories about how the players’ families were threatened. I don’t think those are true, but where were Antonella and Messi’s kids? His family? Something definitely happened.
Messi's speech makes zero sense. It's haunting. Then 2 CBs collapse? I mean what are the odds of that. Was there even any fitness issues or people players training separately apart from Paredes rib injury? Plus everyone seemed tense. I don't know if the players were consuming social media for them to be this irritated by the provocations including the whining spaniards cry babies. Maybe this is really about tactics issue with Scaloni. At HF dibu is seen telling them to actually play
Bro if this true then Scaloni the coward needs to be take all the blame and leave immediately like Pekerman
I like Kun . Like his former father in law, he has this childlike attitude and will tell you as it is without sugar coating.
Again, seems like conspiracy theories, but at least 2-3 “sources” the mafia threatened the players’ families. Most probably FIFA wanted to make sure we didn’t win this. Why were our legends not shown? Why only the Spaniards’? Especially when they were shown at every other games of ours. There is also a viral clip where Messi is shooting shots pre-match like he always does. But for the 1st time in his life, he misses all 5! He also looked like a zombie, completely spaced out, after those shots. Reminds me so much of 1990, when Havelange, FIFA all made a pact to make sure Argentina didn’t win the World Cup. Maradona forever became the establishment’s enemy then. The median campaign against Argentina to turn the whole world against us has been downright crazy and extreme.
Its a good thing that at least we defeated England in semi. Imagine the noise if we didnt, it would be deafening!
Here is the clip of Messi missing shots in the warm up, on purpose, and Aguero’s full statement. He says exactly the same thing I mentioned about 1990. 🚨Sergio Agüero on the strange way Argentina played against Spain: Sergio Agüero 🗣️:“I’ve watched football my whole life, and I’ve never felt as confused after a World Cup final as I do now. Something about that night didn’t make sense. Maybe one day we’ll know the full… pic.twitter.com/deZXUbnzY1— Vfynn_🥷🏼 𐙚 (@Vfynn_) July 21, 2026
And Spanish fans trying to burn Messi’s jersey but can’t….. Spain of all countries have zero right to troll Messi when they were actively opening their legs for him to join them back in the day https://t.co/N6HpbYQAiu— 𝐓𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐲 🎩 (@Shelby_Messi) July 21, 2026
Honestly, nothing adds up from that performance. I am still refraining from tin foil hat and blaming it all on scaloni. Although seeing the conspiracies against us we can fight fire with fire. Messi missing every shot pre match, stopping his run when the keeper came in ect. The mood was so off. This is not how a team who made it against all odds with already a world cup in the bag should be acting
Look, I think it’s fairly obvious something happened prior to the game. That much is certain. We don’t know what, but just look at the players’ faces. That is enough to tell you that they were extremely affected. The hate campaign against us to turn the whole world against us has been ridiculous. Ustedes sigan. Hay que bancarse la vuelta.pic.twitter.com/dn0FxG9IMS https://t.co/GZpiRMzESk— Team Leo Messi (@TeamLeoM) July 21, 2026 Argentine little girl, doing nothing but looking from her balcony quietly. But of course, those “classy” Spaniard thugs, bullying her.
I’m not sure why Aguero would say this. To protect Messi and erode confidence in Scaloni? Scaloni is the best coach in Argentina NT history. It’s ok if he makes mistakes given his amazing record. I agree Scaloni got his tactics wrong and was outcoached throughout the game. At the same time, he had to waste subs on injured defenders, plus the team was a step below 2022, and Spain are an incredible team. I think if Argentina tried to open up and attack more they would’ve lost heavily. Just like England were a step behind Argentina, Argentina were a step behind Spain.
Nah, Spain just wouldnt thrash anyone at KO stage cause they're simply not clinical up front. Stats shows that Spain is averaging slightly below 2 goals per game in this tournament. They only have 2 big wins, against Saudi and Austria.
The spain hype is crazy. Scaloni fielded the wrong lineups with wrong strategy with dead midfield and then 2CBs got injured while Spain just clicked refresh on their midfield subs. Their attacks were garbage. They got lucky all tournament like Courtois gettinf injured. And they got favorable calls in many games even against Belgium there was a handball. Even the penalty vs France was the stupidest thing I have seen and was handball first. No one documents that tho because argentina is the scapegoat of haters (which argentina alway had but now they are on social media)
@afar isnt it strange that Romero and Licha who literally only leave the field on a stretcher just walked off
One thing for sure, the refereeing went one-sided much like the 1990 final after Argentina defeated the host Italy.
Yes, you are right. The better team won. But our attitude and approach were all wrong. We had more than enough to be dangerous against Spain - and who knows if we had scored first, what would have happened. In all honesty, despite us being so vastly second-best, we were inches away from getting the equalizer with 10 men. This clearance from Cubarsí in the 120 minute may go down as the greatest defensive play in World Cup history.Just imagine if Argentina had scored in stoppage time and taken the game to penalties—a situation they specialize in. They could very well have gone on to win the World…— Appie Culé (@appiecule) July 20, 2026 The second one was the Simeone chance, which if it had fallen to Lautaro, Julian, or Messi, we probably are talking a tie game. Despite all our shortcomings, we really were inches away. Also, Lautaro also wrote a cryptic message with a slight dig on Scaloni.
Yes, of course. That in itself is extremely suspect, especially with those two - probably two of our biggest warriors.
Argentina vs Austria = 2-0 Spain vs Austria = 3-0 Argentina vs CV = 3-2 Spain vs CV = 0-0 But off course people are saying that Argentina always lucky to win while Spain is superior in every matches cause the narrative has always been against Argentina, not Spain or any other team (except England who's hated by most of the neutral)
