All these people, bots, and AI writing this social media smear campaign have never ever watched our South American qualifiers. We are always on the other side of the "dark arts". Then on the World Cup stage, we bring the expertise in it LOL.

Don't forget that a majority of WC2026 watchers and social media folks barely watch any football at all. They have no clue what offsides is.

@Pekerman and @aerez i dont give a shit about the little personal drama between you two. Go at each other for all I care, you should see how ridiculous it looks to all of us from the outside.

ASF probably has less patience and will delete your posts… but just know you guys look foolish!

Remember the absolutely clear foul against Simeone when Simeone was dumped to the ground when clean through.

You know what? Maybe they should have the World Cup from November until December. We all saw players at their very best last time around. We were gliding on the pitch in many of our games. Not sure what Scaloni was thinking when he brought in all these injured players. Maybe we’re meant to last 6 games like the CA or 7 like the last Mundial… Without resting players this is what happened.

Players that need to be dropped immediately and forever. I believe this goes without saying…

    De Paul
    Nico G
    Giuliano
    Almada
    Molina
    Paredes(Sorry, Pekerman, it’s time)
Otamendi(Should’ve happened a long time ago)

Other players I say it more or less with respect. Montiel and Tags. Both will be far too old for the next Mundial. Maybe a CA as back-ups.

Messi can decide but if he decides to play in one more CA with a new group, that’s fine in my book. But if he wants to bring back the old gang for one Last Last Last Dance then forget it.

Im also concerned about players like Cuti and Licha. How will they be holding up on 4 years time?

Enzo and Mac need to get some rest and find their best form. The midfield needs a tweak to revamping.

I get starting over is never easy but it needs to happen. A total and complete rebuild. I’ll be sad to see Tags leaving but I never want to see the stupid mug of De Paul again. What a waste of space…

Yes, what in the world was all that????? Reminded me of the R9 situation before the 1998 final.

I can't see Messi going again. Remember before last CA he said he wanted experience what it was like playing as defending champion. I'm sure for WC it was the same motivation. But now? I dunno. I guess we'll see but I think his Miami contract wraps up in '28 and would assume he's done then. I guess there's still 1000 goal mark to go for.

I believe only winning Finalssima (if it does happen later this year) will reignite his motivation.

Having another shot at international trophy this year againts Spain isnt a bad idea ...

he's going to be 43 years old; set your expectations to reality, even at 41 we can't run this same game plan in the copa america which is to basically enable messi - it has to end, he was given his glory that he so rightfully deserved and it ended in the best run a senior verteran player has ever seen

yamal at 19 has a world cup, his career could be over by 25 with how many minutes he plays
the body young and old doesn't care who you are

you abuse it when you're young, you will pay in a few years and for messi, time will just catch up way faster

Somebody on Twitter wrote something in the lines of “I’m no fan of Argentina’s but it’s crazy the hate they get. It shows how easily people can get manipulated. It needs to be studied someday…” It shows you people are zombies and follow fads.

Between nations league and euro qualifiers Spain has a full schedule most likely until March 2028 (window for euro qualifier play-offs which I assume they won't need to play).

That finalissima is most likely never going to be played.

We have 45M Argentines and you can add to that around 500M Argentina fans globally.

Asia, parts of Africa, central America, the diaspora, Italy, Greece. Biggest NT following along with the selecao.

No one cares about Spain outside of Spain apart from Mexico and the few bandwagoners.

Messi is just so classy. He might be even better as a person than a player. Hard to imagine.

Look at Messi at the top of the list with duels won!!! More than Rodri! You can subtract his 28 dribbles, and he still ended up with an insane number! He also beat out Yamal and Mbappe on dribbles, at the age of 39.

    IMG_4333.jpeg

Also, the IFFHS, the official record keeper of all things futbol, awarded Messi the Golden Ball.

    IMG_4331.jpeg IMG_4332.jpeg

So Messi outdid Rodri, Yamal, and Mbappe all by himself! That’s insane.

Makes a mockery of the Golden Ball being award to the turd Rodri then.

And Scaloni. Sorry mate you said they were running on empty. Did you not check with the medical team ? You had 5 fresh players available. You could have put into the starting line up. Barco, Palacios, Lo Celso, Paz, Senesi,

I'm sorry he gave the trophy away on a platter.

All this BS coming out from Madrid and the Spanish press. FO winkers.

France didn't stick around in 22. Did we demand their submission as it were ? No. Feck these whiny hunts.

Everything about this final felt like FIFA doing their best to try to steer away from the Argentina favoritism allegations.

From giving us cards for traditionally non-yellow plays (Enzo’s first yellow for instance), to being lenient on Spain throughout (Oyarzabal kicking Messi in the knee and not even getting a yellow), and completely ignoring other plays (there was a play where one of our guys got kicked without the ball and the game just kept going, or the time they took Messi down near the box)..

And now this.. giving Rodri the Golden Ball in order to steer clear from the “FIFA Princess” allegations. Toothless.

I really think there were orders from above to not just try to avoid controversy in Argentina’s favor, but also to overcompensate for it in order to avoid any social turbulence. Hence why they were so quick to pull the cards on Enzo. If anything, they were alleviated when they had that sudden opportunity to expel one of ours

I agree... Good on them, at least they are being honest. What the hell is there to celebrate about?
