The real question is, does Connor Casey hold the red card to minutes played ratio record? He played a total of 34' in a Crew jersey and managed to pick up a red card.
I'm in the infancy stages of trying to figure this out, but I did notice that we actually only had one red card all season this year. Amundsen. @San Diego, if I recall?
https://thepeoplesperson.com/2025/1...ted-make-offer-for-real-betis-striker-301870/ Potential £26 million pound offer for Cucho by Man United. Would love to use the sell on clause money to buy out Gazdag.
ISTM like we routinely had fewer yellow cards than our opponents. Haven’t looked up the stats, but I’d think we were on the low end. MLS doesn’t have a “Fair Play” award does it?
I feel like Man U will get linked with everyone. Weren't there just stories about how Pulisic is heading over there next? I feel the same way about Cucho as I do Morris. I hope that they both tear it up for their clubs, but that the clubs don't do well. That way, they pretty much have to sell those guys so we get that sweet, sweet sell-on $. I don't want Boro to get promoted and just hold onto Morris. Selfish, I know. But Morris is destined for the EPL one way or another, and it may as well be the way that hits our pockets. So while we don't have a manager or know much about what's happening with the GM for now, I'm going to take a trip to fantasy land. Yunus Musah is on loan from AC Milan to Atalanta, where he's also not playing. There's some talk of his loan ending early. Perhaps we could consider a loan at the TAM-able level of his salary for a year? I give it about 2% higher chance of happening than me starting at CM next year for the Crew.
Eww no, he is not this team's answer. He was very much a Nancy guy. He would be far less valuable under a different system.
Stefani Miglioranzi? I know it wasn't Chris Leitch cause he is coaching. Omg if it is Danny Szetela I would be so ********ing happy.
Best I can tell, Frankie only had three red cards with us -- two straight, one 2Y. I can only remember one -- he threw a forearm at KC's Alex Zotinca's head while they jostled for position on a dead ball. He had one in the Open Cup if I remember right that won't count in the MLS numbers.
As of 2014, it was Danny O'Rourke over Mike Clark https://www.columbuscrew.com/news/circle-honor-2014-candidate-spotlight-mike-clark
The roster is really hard to evaluate until you know who the coach is. I really hope Tall doesn't bring anyone in beyond some rotational guys till a coach is in and they spend a bit of time evaluating. My prediction is the FO uses the timeline to the new season as the reason they didn't bring in new players of a certain quality but plan on doing something this summer. The summer rolls around and we sign someone in the last few days of the window.
Aka what I posted that I was afraid of a few days ago. If they punt on another window it's another slap in the face to the fans who follow such things and will further kill any enthusiasm from casual fans when they show up and see an uncompetitive skeleton crew.
20% of gross for Cucho if he’s sold. We’re looking at bringing in three players (two 6/8 midfielders and a center back) if all goes well. The scouting has been happening for a long time.
Its also true that generally speaking players arent eager to sign up with a team when they don't know who the coach is going to be.
