LAFC qualify to CCC as long as NYCFC doesn't win the MLS Cup. NYCFC qualify to CCC if they win the MLS Cup.

 

The "Eredivisie" isnot as good as the top 5 of Europe, but I don't watch for instance the EPL, while I can watch top matches for free, because it's not my league, my club doesnot play in it.
If one's club plays in the MLS, be happy with MLS, because that's your club's league.
Dismissive comments on leagues by imagining how certain clubs would perform against clubs of their own league, when there's zero competitive engagement between the two is simply living a fantasy.

Edit: I'm atm interested in MLS's final confrontation, as it's Pascal Jansen's mission, a Dutch coach I like.

With NYCFC out of the MLS Cup race. LAFC has now qualified to CCC.

 

Not CCC related but Flamengo won the Copa Libertadores against Palmeiras. Flamengo will play Cruz Azul, CCC champs, on Dec 10 in the FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Don't know how both teams will do it. As of today Cruz Azul is still in the Liga MX play offs and Flamengo still needs 2 points to win their league and add another trophy. Flamengo has a game Dec 7. Although they can win on their Dec 3 game and not worry about losing/winning on Dec 7. Cruz Azul depends on how they do on their series vs Chivas if they get eliminated or continue.

Flamengo is also the first CONMEBOL team to qualify to the 2029 CWC.

2026 CCC draw isn't even done yet and Toluca and Tigres have already qualified for the 2027 CCC by reaching the Liga MX final.

To the surprise of no one I'm going to take a wild guess and say America, Cruz Azul and Monterrey will also be in the 2027 CCC

Gotta say, not too upset that the Rapids aren't in CCC play this year and we don't have another Frozen Taps game coming up.
